If there isn't an expiration date on the item, then it won't expire ;p   Just takes a while to get the perm. ones.

The truth is, i buy NX cards from CVS, 7-11, and previously Target.   While the first too were almost always sold out, Target was almost always fully stocked on cards (50 of both 10k and 25k).  I don't think many people wanted to go into an actual store compared to the quickness offered by something like a gas station.
