ok well i played maple on my computer before but i un-installed it like months ago and i decided to play again so i installed it...once it finished i clicked on the MapleStory icon on my desktop and this is what came up:

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

 i dont get the last part becuz im the administrator of the computer so idkkkk

and i put maple as an exception on my firewall to see if that wud help but nothing..... 

please help!!!!!! 

and sorry for the multiple posts....my computer froze and something went wrong

1) Delete the MapleStory.exe shortcut you use on your desktop or quick launch

2)Open your MapleStory folder

3)Right-click on MapleStory.exe inside your MapleStory folder

4)Click Create Shortcut

5)Drag the shortcut to your desktop and delete the shortcut in the MapleStory folder

6)Now you can use the new shortcut on your desktop

i tried that...didnt work...i uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and nothing works...it seems like the game isnt even there idk i seriously need help
