A year ago, I got banned for a week for "BF glitching" when I never even encountered a BF but levelled a lot at Crimson Guardians with 2x cards and enjoying 4x during Nexon's 2x exp summer events. Many people alongside me, bishops that just grinded all day at skeles, never setting foot in the Haunted Forest, got banned as well. Those wrongful bannings were never addressed. We all received the same reply. I never seeked compensation for the week I lost because Nexon had already made up their mind, I was a BF glitcher, no matter what the actual reality was. Either way I figured "Hey, if they couldn't figure out a way to separate the players that glitched BF from the ones that just trained a lot, oh well, at least the glitchers got banned".
This past month, most of my merchant friends got banned for a week for 'buying mesos' even though all they did was set up shop and make mesos. And again, nothing was explicitly explained about these bannings. So maybe Nexon couldn't figure out a way to distinguish between players who bought mesos and those that just received these bought mesos from selling stuff in their shops . They suffered their ban and came back.
Well, now a lot of these players are banned again, a day after coming back. And it's not just a week, where you could shrug your shoulders and think "Well, at least some bad guys were taken down as well". There were no bad guys. And we're banned for a month for simply attempting to kill the newest boss in MapleStory.
Both my characters on this account are level 200 now, I started a cygnus to get an attack buff for my BM, I bought 2x exp cards and a pet for my cygnus, I bought Vicious Hammers for my BM's equips and Rings of Ancient Thought, all to be stronger for our next Pink Bean attempt, only for us all to get banned 2 minutes into the fight.
I've suffered and seen my friends suffer wrongful bans in the past, tried to be understanding that mistakes do happen and with a community this big, there are bound to be circumstances where people are banned simply because it's impossible to distinguish between illegal and legal actions. But to get banned for an entire month, after weeks of preparation and spent nx/mesos for a second Pink Bean attempt, is very discouraging. I would just greatly appreciate some acknowledgement and explanation of this bug/glitch and for all of us to have our accounts unblocked and characters put back on rankings.
