At 3PM Maplestory worked for me I logged off my charractor and Click Quit cause I had to go out. I came back home to go on Maplestory and when I clicked the icon everything was working great but then Ahnlab HackShield stopped at 3 bars for 30mins, So I uninstall Maplestory and Redownload it and still gets stuck at 3 bars and after 30mins it says this: HackShield: Update Error (805306416) Cannot Connect To Server: Click OK

 

Any Help would be great :) Ty for your time 

the following might work and it might not:

set your antivirus to allow HSUpdate.exe on its exceptions list

if that doesn't work, then try to manually update HackShield by doube-clicking HSUpdate.exe

Nothing worked im thinking that its either something with computer but my computer is working good so im just gunna redownload maplestory again to see if it works.

Ive tried everything possible to fix this but still no good is there anyway i could use another hackshield besides Ahnlab that maplestory uses cause this just keeps getting stuck at 3 bars no matter what was working fine yesterday at 3PM now it isn't I really need help , re-installing maplestory didnt work redownloading it didnt work. patching from v71-72 didnt work nothing is wrong with my computer so its gotta be maplestory . Cygnus knights is coming out soon and i wanna be able to play it.

Hehe, this is my brother. But, anywho, yeah, our computer has had this problem once before, from about... two weeks ago. It lasted for 1 week and then I found Darrick's thread on how to fix Maplestory problems. I followed the precedure I used last time:

(Un-Install Maplestory, Re-Download Maplestory the old-fashioned way, Re-Install Maplestory, Delete the short-cut to Maplestory on the Dashboard and make a new one from right-clicking Maplestory.exe in the Maplestory folder and selecting "Make Shortcut" then moving the new short-cut to the Dashboard, going to 'Start' and selecting 'Run' and typing in 'cmd' into the search-bar, typing in 'netsh winsock reset' into the black screen that pops up, and then restart the computer.

Since this hasn't worked for the same problem that has happened to us the second time, it has certainly got me scratching my head. As I have been searching around the forums for help, I have come across about 6-7 people who have the same problem as us, and they haven't got any solutions to the problem as well.

i tried allowing it it wont work i tried manually updating it but it would just get stuck on the 2 bars and take about 30min to load.....pls darrick help...still waiting for your reply

im on windows xp. It only goes to 2 bars then it has this weird error thingy please help!
