Yeah, I don't know if this is an actual glitch, or if I'm just the
most unlucky person in the world. So far, I have probably spent around
700m on new zakumhelmet(1) Or whatever the Official name for it is, and
about 85m on scrolls. We'll to start off this "Unlucky streak" I found
that I needed around 20 more dex to equip my level 90 item, being a low
dex hermit and all, so I decided, hey, I could scroll my z-helm, Who
knows, I might get lucky? So first thing I do, Is buy a 30% scroll,
Cause, you know, its good to use those on the first slot, as opposed to
the last slot, saving my 70%'s for last. So I scroll it, and what do
you know? It blows up. Luckly I had a z-helm on my bandit, which I no
longer used, So I put some scissors of karma on it and transfer that
sucker over. I decide not to scroll it first thing, cause of what
happened last time, and just trained some (actually, leeched, lol) And
then I decided, I really need this dex If I'm ever gonna equip that
raven's dawn level 90 claw. So, Another 30%, another helm blown up. By
now I'm getting a bit frustrated, I mean, chances of an item blowing up
from a 30% are only 20% because, You use the scroll... 30% chance it
works, if it doesn't work, 50% chance it doesn't blow up so add those
and get 80%. Multiply that by 2 and there is a 160% chance that the
item would not blow up twice in a row. So, foolishly, I buy another
z-helm from one of my mage freinds, who has a 17 dex helm, This time
I'm like, Ok this is 17 dex, I'll be catious, So in goes a 70% scroll,
and another helm blown up, by then I was just furious, I mean...
chances of that are very slim to none. So in a kinda blind fury, I buy
the first z-helm I see in fm, and the first 30% scroll I see, and of
course, blow up another z-helm. At that point I just kinda stepped away
from the computer, pinched myself to see if I was dreaming or not, and
kinda just walked away. Took some deep breaths, I was kinda shaking, I
mean, this is probably like, around 100$ real money I have just blown
here. But, I decided not to stop there with the scrolling... I was
like, Comon, one has to work sooner or later, I mean with all this
scroll failage, there has to be some scroll winage burried in there,
So, Another z-helm. This time I get my new freind (Some guy I just
finished selling stuff to, so I could actually afford another z-helm)
watch me, So I use a 30% this time it doesn't work, but it didn't blow
up, yes! I'm getting somewhere! I thought... So I bought another 30%...
Because, I new In the back of my mind, I had somethings I could sell to
make a quick buck. And well, another fail, But not blown up yet... So
I'm like, wow, Fine, another 30%, and well, what do you know? Blew
up... How fun. At this point, I just didn't really care anymore, I'm
like, Ok, if they are all going to fail, then lets experiment a bit
shall we?! 4 more scrolls and 2 more z-helms later, None have worked so
far, I have no helm, and My money is wearing extremely thin...
So,
at a loss of around 785m, around 200 actual dollars, probably more, I'm
back where I started, no z-helm no money, and actually farther away
from my goal of getting that extra 20 dex so I could equip my proper
level 90 weapon.
Again, Not sure If this is actually a glitch, I just had to tell this tale of epic fail
