Note: This ain't mine. This was taken from a Sleepywood.net forum topic. I didn't do this test, nor was any of my characters used.

The stork NPC, Hak, is bugged. There are actually two bugs. The first one spawns you right back where you were in the first place (i.e. If you leave Orbis for Mu Lung, you might end up right back in Orbis. See the SSes below of my experiment). The second is a big deal. You may get auto-banned for 30 days, for doing nothing.

Can't be true, right? I tried it out myself after hearing about others who got banned in similar cases. The character used is a friend's inactive mage.

Logging on.


First try.


In-flight.


After the first flight, it knocked me back to Orbis instead of Mu Lung. Another bug? (You can see in the chat that I did not take the stork back, nor did I relog.)


Finally in Mu Lung, going back to Orbis.


One of the last rides back to Orbis, the next ride from Orbis -> Mu Lung would be the last.


After I land in Mu Lung, I d/c. This comes up upon attempting to relog.

This guy was banned after dropping mesos while aboard Hak, on four different characters as he says in a later post. Xiyuuna also replied to this, saying she was banned shortly after using Hak.

So yeah, I'm just raising awareness here. Don't use Hak unless you don't mind risking being banned for 30 days. Tell your friends, get the word out. Stupid Nexon and their bugs.

 I was pretty much giving up my case after nexon's reply, I thought it was an isolated incident but there are more than enough people and it's been tested more than enough times to show that it's the problem. <_< Next time I won't be lazy and just have orbis scrolls.

@Xiyuuna : The problem with all those post is that they are posted on Sleepywood & Basil, which is full of 100% nubs that will say anything, and make up any outlandish story to be proven legit to their buds.  I don't listen to a word on Sleepywood because its just story tellers and fairytales.. 

The only archer glitch is the d/cing when you bow wack and sometimes mortal blow.. all that other stuff is just people that were banned for hacking and want to make up something and get other people in on there story.

 Sorry im not 12 I dont believe everything I read.. you guys have to take into account that 90% of the MS community is comprised of people younger than 15, so to have an accurate measurement of any bug or glitch is not gonna happen when 99% of everything is false, or made up.

Umm, right. So we'll just ignore all those glitches that half the community is complaining about or the level 133 ranger who got a ban through the hak because you're the most credible person in the community so we should all listen to you because OMG you have videos!? You can't go around calling everyone a noob.

 The way I see it, NOT everything will be false and it's not like everyone is writing "OMG I GOT T3H BAN", some people genuinely seem to have experienced this glitch, test it out yourself and see what happens, ss or take a video of it, perhaps it takes more than once or it just doesn't happen to  everyone. Even some of the top Bowmasters in Khaini are having issues and since I actually know them and that not everyone is younger than 15 (I'm Older btw) I'll take into account these stories because I have a certain degree of trust in my Maple Friends.

The guy's screen shots are in succession of one another btw.

Don't throw out numbers without the actual stats and go get to know your fellow maplers or something.

 That's why I Don't use basil, I put in a search for false bans and his page popped up.

I don't want this to get blown out of proportion unless more people test it, a glitch isn't always going to be synonymous  to each player. We all  have different computers, internet service, blah blah blah.

@ Xiyuuna: I hate to tell you but Sleepywood is just as bad as Basil, I just skim the threads at Sleepy and just LOL at all the stupidity going on in those forums, its barely better than the NEXON threads, only reason its a little bit better is because its moderated.

I will give you a tip, do you want to know why everyone gets there accounts hacked and all there mesars go bye bye?  Its because they trusted their friends with their account information :)

The maple community is comprised of hackers, scammers, liars, harrasers, and other types of immaturity.  Its just what the community has been turned into due to the lack of rules.  I can debunk almost every claim by the so called random auto ban because I cc, or I setup my store, or I blah blah blah, excuse excuse excuse.  Tommorow I will test it, I will drop mesos, dance around go back and forth cc, do everything to prove to you guys that this is a fairy tale...

This is the reason I only associate with a few people in game that actually have a head on there shoulders, and not totally crazy with a new story everyday, OMG NEXON SITE HAS KEYLOGGERS LULZ, OMG MY FRIEND GOT HACKED THEN I GOT HACKED OMG LULZ, I GOT BANNED I NEVER HACKED LULZ I CC AND GOT BANNED LULZ.

Its funny really same stories everyday, I've seen the same stories since I started playing in 2006, some high level "legits" getting banned, claiming it was some random glitch when really it wasn't..

its funny my one friend gets hacked loses all his stuff, he said he didnt give out any information, Im like you gave out some information ? hes like NO I DIDNT, im like okay is there anyway anyone could guess your password? hes like no.. well after awhile his password happened to be something simple a good friend could figure out, and his pin number was his month and day of his birthday.. so he finally admits it was his own fault.

anyways i just lol at the stupidity in MS.

I challenge anyone that says they can hack accounts to hack my account, I will give them my account name and part of my password because I know they can't.  Its just lies on top of more lies, and everyone that plays ms falls for these stories.. its sad really.  

That 133 bowmaster deserved the ban stick in my opinion.  Same reason you deserved your ban.  

I said my peace, and for all the legits the proof is in the pudding my friends :)
