How hard is it to perma ban these ppl????

The problem is, it's easy enough for the advertisers to make a new account, and start advertising in minutes.

Yea i agree, and its not just dojo. They used to just stay in one spot like the FM or something, but now, they started moving around, going to different places ><

New idea : Filter all website just like Runescape, for example, 'www.google.com' will turn into '***************', even the word 'Google' is filtered, and you can't go around the word filter, like g00gle, g0o0o0o0o0o0gggggggIi1113, you get my point

^they already do that and a word filter cant just "make it" so you cant go around it. thats why you see the advertisers using text like

 

Mesos at gog[l]e

 

to get around the censor.

 

also they name their sites very common things, an old meso selling company used to be called IGS, and they censored it and then for like three years noone could say "Pigs" in maple story.

yeah, blockers DON'T work, it just makes people more pissed, all you can do is ignore them, GMs definitly should do something, but there ain't enough of em, there are like a million spammers, and when you ban one, they just get reborn in a new character, like this issue isn't easy to fix, so just report and ignore, thats all ou can do sadly

I think nexon should take a look at the names no one of those ad bots ever have a normal name and i think the filtering is bad enough already i cant type half of what i want as is last thing we needs is to have pure stars as are text. I am sure they try to take action though but i am hesitant to report ppl now that they charge me for it xD.

Nothing new. It use to be only Fm ch 1, Then hen ch 1 Henysis and from there it spread to any place there is a pq. I am glad tho they are no longer in Elina (ever notice most mser spell it wrong? lol) but any place we pq is where they go now. Makes me mad!!

This can also be said for the spammers that sometime appear in the nexon forums.  I remember 1 user whom posted up a post on every world spreading the propaganda about how nexon is "scamming" people for money via CS which was an absolute load of horsy poop!

 I was thinking nexon could an algorithm in regards to EPOC but that could be VERY difficult as there are user whom spam in quick succession.  Especially in the FM.  Now I'm thinking along the lines of regular expressions.

grantwall i got an idea that u could give GM or moderator :)  what about blocking all lvl 1 to lvl 20 from going channel 1 ? ;P that way advertisers maker would have at least more job to do(as they will need more time to make and send a new char on cc1 to advertise) so at least it slow down their bad effect and are less disturbing to GM and players till find a way to perma ban them

sorry for double post :S except henesys cc1 for lvl 10-20 since people lvl 10-20 does pq there till hit lvl 21 :S i know it leave a dead angle but most places would have less of those advertisers

I always report advert bots :D  yes, it's very annoying when you're trying to chat, and you can's see whats being typed... especially in buddy and guild chat.
