I'm not a GM, but I can confirm that Canada is considered in the service area. If you are able to create an account, a character, and successfully log into the game, you are in the service area. 

I was mainly wondering because most contests and that involving Canada and that.. and for all we know this could too, exclude some provinces. Or one to say the least.. Quebec, which is where I am. I just hope it's not excluded in this too.. I'd be kinda disappointed since I don't get to participate in many things just because I live here and because it's "laws" don't co-operate with contests.. somehow.. or something rather.

 

Ahh, well you could post in the MapleStory Help section about this. It would be a shame if you couldn't participate.

From what I've read, you should receive an e-mail stating such things.

You'll get an email response no matter if you get in or not. At least, that's what they did last round. It can take quite a while, even way past the deadline before you know for sure. I remember waiting nearly 2 months after they announced said deadline before hearing anything. As for a reason...I'm not sure. I suppose you won't have a specific reason unless it's something that not only disqualifies you, but potentially could get you banned as well. But don't quote me on that^^;
