Agreed. These forums are pretty much a waste anyway, from what I've read on here most of the intelligent people here can be found on other forums and in better company. The only real use this forum has is a dumping grounds for the Maple Trash. I have no problem with Nexon creating the forums, don't get me wrong. It's a great a idea that was, as many are, destroyed by stupid people. All that's left is to wait for a Nexon employee of some kind to do something about the problem, such as... I don't know, announce it so people don't keep getting banned for it? That would be a start. They might also want to fix their inquiry page, it keeps giving "Cannot Create SelfUser" error messages so it's completely impossible to reach them that way.

 You know I've seen hime post more in generic forums versus anything to do with technical faults, LUCKILY we finally have gotten a reply from nexon that states something along the line that they are looking into this problem.

 And where's your proof that you went and did the experiment, how did you do it and what were your variables? Did you change channels alot? Did you drop mesos? What did you do?

 

God Dammit screw it, I try to keep my chill but people sometimes act like such pathetic noobs it's sad. What's wrong with people these days, CAN they not read or do they only read what they want to.  

 

 

 

some ppl just don't appreciate the help and warning that are given to them, most likely because they dun trust ppl cause they have been fooled more than twice in the past.

like FinalPrayer said, if you truely believe in what you say then dun worry about what others think cause you're real goal here is to alert nexon of this glitch and hoping that they will fix it soon.

 

-.- I shouldn't have posted my last message so angry like. I should know that some people especially those who are either players who haven't been on the game that long or who are generally ignorant will always come to slander posts.

This is the longest time I have ever really been on Nexon's forums. Sometimes I get a log in problem here or the loading is slow. : [ And it gets flooded with alot of meaningless  posts.

 To me people that get tricked or scammed the most are either young or have a language barrier to work with. It's rather easy to pick up on a scam when something doesn't seem sensible, people also get scammed because of greed. I could hope for more common sense but some just don't know any better.

 I'm doubting Nexon will say anything "official" about this, the closest that any of the patrons involved have gotten are replies, I don't think I copied them all here but people have been copying and pasting their replies from nexon on sleepywood.

D: I hope they are generally working on this and not getting hopes up.

The auto-ban doesn't just accidentally activate and ban you. You did something to activate it. The auto-ban works through GameGuard and not the MapleStory game engine. Either you have something installed on your PC that activated the GameGuard Auto-ban such as Steam or another program that can be detected as a hack utility, or you were actually hacking and though you could get by the last update of GameGuard.

The auto-ban is a fail safe feature of Maple. Because it's not a part of MapleStory itself. You were caught and busted. End of story.

Fail safe? Don't make me laugh uncontrollably. Every MS patch I've found at least 10 major glitches.

You obviously know nothing about programming or you'd know nothing is "fail safe", yet you come in with your ego acting like there's no other possible answer other than your's.

You also obviously have no idea how GameGuard works, having anything that could be detected as a hack will not trigger an auto-ban, even if it's executed.

Finally, myself and 2 friends have fallen victim to this glitch. I have witnessed this personally myself, but I'm betting you have nothing to back up your opinion that it can't happen, and you're just talking out of your ass.

Post proof that it couldn't happen, or GTFO. Just because you're a big name that makes videos doesn't mean you can make claims without backing them up.

For those wanting to test it themselves, I was able to trigger it by dropping mesos while on Hak.

That's stupid. Banning for nothing?  Well, I took the stork from Orbis TO Mu Lung and nothing happened.  However, I didn't take it from Mu Lung to Orbis.  I'm in Ludibrium right now, so I think I'll be fine.  Just need to remember this......O_o.

take the long way through aqua, that's what i do now. it's annoying but it's safe, so glad there is more than one way of getting to mu lung. 

soo a patch tonight who wants to take bets on people being unbanned?
