i cant get on because of gamegaurd initializing error how do i fix that

I am curious to know the same.

Many of us out here use MAC OS and don't own a PC.

I currently am letting this program load (thanks to a friend).

But now see that it may not even work for my OS.

What is going on with that?

I am a hour new to NEXON but would like to know what is out there for MAC OS.

Maple Story is the craze. I would love to have it available in my house.

Could someone please advise in this matter as not only Riarios is questioning. But a lot of us other MAC OS users would really like to know.

I know after vacation of a couple dozen Mac OS users interested in Maple Story.

We are not going to another OS. Mac is our life.

Please advise.

What is the problem if u cant charge your account by PayPal? At the end, when I suppose to see succesful transaction; appears apage with this message:"The transaction process could not be completed. Please re-check your billing information and make sure that all the required fields are filled in correctly." When I talk to PayPal, they said my account is clear and verified to use. Nexon didnt answer the ticket in one month, What can I do now?

I've been having some probelms with Maplestory. I have the lastest DirectX, everything. I have a decent amount of RAM, and everything. I do however use an old computer, made about 3 years ago.

1. After I choose my charcater, the music loads and I pop up, but nothing there, just the area background. Then I either crash to the login page, but the orange poster that I type in my ID, is blank. The music isn't playing, and I return to the desktop. Other times I just go to the login page, simply try again, and I'm on.

2. I lag badly, then it stops. After about 5 seconds, I log off, either returning to the desktop or back to the log in screen. Then it says "Error to connecting to the server". I'm fully connected.

3.Sometimes The game won't load after crashing 10-12 times. Then I simply restart my computer and works. It sometimes takes me to the What's new screen, then gamegaurd, other times it justs won't work.

Those are all I can thing of right now that  has happened to me. I really can't think well while I'm watching TV and posting/playing at the same time.

I have exactly the same problem-  worked great BEFORE the 041 patch, disconnects within seconds of the first game screen appearing AFTER the patch.   I used a stopwatch and timed it several times this weekend and found that approximately 50 seconds after the login screen appears, (the one where you enter your username, password and pin), I disconnect.  Screen freezes, goes black, drops back to Windows desktop with NO error messages.

If I type real fast and choose world, channel and character really fast, I might be able to move around the map a bit, even kill a monster or two, but 50 seconds after the login screen appears-  bam.  Disconnect.

I don't believe it's a problem with our computers- after all, the only thing that changed was the PATCH.  Thus drivers, monitor frequency, direct X, whatever-  should have NO bearing on the problem.  Something isn't right with the patch, and it's affecting only certain people.  I too am running 98SE, but others with XP have reported the same trouble.

The only thing I can suggest (VERY STRONGLY), is to go to the SUPPORT section of this site (click the Support link at the top of this page) and log a ticket with Nexon Customer Service,  They need to know the severity of the problem and how many paying customers are being affected by it.  Describe the problem, your computer and the Windows version. 

this is the exact same problem with mine. i click my character and it appears and while my character is dropping it freezes then exits out with no error. I am  thinking about quitting maplestory altogether if nexon does not fix this. This NEVER happened before the new patch. I think if we get enough ppl to tell nexon what the problem is they might actually do something.

Game load (PLAY) > Credits pages > Login page > Character selection (any) > Loads and when character is falling it freeze in less a second and exists with a black screen. I used to play normally before :( No freq monitor/malware/spyware/new applications problems related. Plzplzplzplzplz help

but still.. couldn't connect
 

seem to be having the exact same problem at the moment.  Reinstalled from different sources as well (IE: Filefront) and still no avail.  I'm obviously connected, because I'm posting this right now. :D  Any answers?
