Well I like the originality, a 2d side scrolling game is awesome and there is no other like it. If you google "Games Like Maplestory" you see all these forums with people asking about it, but there is no one that can compare, people are saying runescape is the closest thing, if so then Maplestory is the best of the best so far, runescape doesn't even come close and neither does any other game. And the best is that its FREE!

My three favorite things about this community:

Nexon makes the best of the best games, the people of the community enhances the nice feeling of any Nexon game hate it or love it, and most of all its not hackable! Now if all that I said was true I'd still be playing Maplestory, Mabinogi, Combat arms, etc.

I can only say that Nexon will make a respectably good game every once and while and that you guys need to do a lot more work.

 Now If you people actually DO care about your consumers rather than just saying you do and ignoring it you'll at least read one of the twenty issues on the entire server and not just on Maplestory...

 No support

We barely ever get anyone on live support helping us nor in the help section (on occasion we will get help from PLAYERS). Rather than the GM's doing their jobs they ignore people that actually need help and just hang out with their friends (at least on my server) they never serve justice even if people get reported more than fiffteen times and just let the auto ban system work for them!

Since I don't want to waste my time and your attention span find out how bad your community is before you flaunt it in the air infront of millions.

Nexon is hosting those games, in case nobody noticed. So actually, all they're really responsible for is watching over the community (providing support, banning abusers etc), and keep the servers running (which is actually not as easy as it sounds).

I appreciate the simplicity that is MapleStory. Being able to log on, and stay on and entertained for hours on end, just by talking to the interesting people you meet is amazing to me. I like the fact that it is free to play, and the community. We have had our ups and downs, but we as a whole stay together as a family millions strong. This, in itself, be it Nexon's intentions or not is an amazing accomplishment that I think we all should be proud of seeing as it took us all to get to where we are today.

I like how it's so community-oriented, instead of being like a game for your DS or something. Everything is about communicating and making friends instead of leveling up and such like it is on other MMO's.

 Aside from that, I like how it's free to play, though you have the option of donating by buying cash. Of course, I agree with everyone else here: constant updates are awesome. Especially the Cygnus Knights. ;)
