This is common sense. Since 1,000 NX is worth roughly 10 million mesos, you are spending 10 million mesos every time you spend 1,000 NX (obviously). You want to make profit, therefore every time you invest 1,000 NX, you will want more than 10 million mesos to come out, or you will have lost money.
As a merchant, I believe you know everything you need to know about this kind of stuff. When you buy NX equipment, you are spending for your personal pleasure only, and the mesos you spend are still equivalent to 100 NX per million mesos. You know what you can afford and how much you want to invest to make more money.
You said you're skipping Gachapon. The only reason for doing that is that it is not worth it compared to the money you put in and what you get out. Basically, all you're saying is that people should avoid spending NX on stuff that's not worth it or stuff that doesn't pay off. Since all merchanters only have one goal - To earn more money - I don't think it is necessary to bring up this advice at all.
You said you spent 120,000 on CS surprises before noticing that you were actually getting less profits - maybe you should have stopped after the first 5-10? Plus you say you've spent 31,600 NX the first time you played, then almost 100,000 per patch. To me, it sounds like you're not really thinking about what you're doing. If you're a merchant, I assume you would have earned money, thus there is no problem - and if there had been a problem with you losing money, I don't get why it would take you 466,250 NX to realize that something was wrong. It just doesn't make any sense.
The term "wall of text" only applies to ignorants who do not bother to read their opponent's mostly perfectly valid arguments before immaturily attempting to counter them.
