As the owner of the ONLY Tiger's Fang on Demethos, I get asked constantly how I made it (That, or I get people thinking they can get me to sell it to them for 10K mesos. I kid you not, I get this offer DAILY!) So, to be helpful, I wanted to write this little FAQ for those who wanted to someday get their very own Tiger's Fang on Demethos.
First, you need to get your hands on some Series 2 (OMG Bosses) packs of the Maple Story Trading Card game. Your best bet to find these OUT OF PRINT cards are to check trading card stores/web sites or eBay. A quick Google found packs for $4-5 each online, or whole boxes of 24 for $77-80 USD.
Now, once you get some packs, you redeem the codes to TRY to get a Stone Tiger Head and Crystal Shard. (Side Note, if your code starts with CO1 or CO2, you just won a FREE black bunny or blue husky, respectively!)
Once you get these items, you take them to John Barricade in NLC's Big Ben. He'll give you a manual to make the Tiger's Fang!
Now comes the easy part! You take the manual, a Lion's Fang, 6 Power Crystals, and 6 Black Crystals to Spindle in Omega Sector's main base/town area. Do ALL of this, and you get your VERY own Tiger's Fang!
Now, is it worth all this trouble? Well, besides bragging rights for having one of the rarest swords on Demethos, this 2H LVL 50 sword has a weapon attack of 72, gives +8 to accuracy, as well as +2 to Speed BEFORE BEING SCROLLED!
