Basicallyy, that?

I alt enter in game and it makes the "dun" sorta beep sound that windows makes when you press buttons :D

andd nothing happens.

I went into settings and put it on "windowed" which also did nothing.

anddd tried putting it on "full screen" and alt entered both and nothinggg happened.

I tried setting it to windowed then restarting maple and stillllllll nothing.

What should I do?

This may be an issue with your graphics card driver.

Hmm, very well could be the graphics card. Going windowed mode, tends to put a strain on it. Have you tried using the game options section to enable it from there?

AND I still have problems with maplestory.

wardman, your problems, come mainly from being Vista, as well as a 64bit OS.

My old laptop could handle it fine. My old laptop was

AMD - 1.8ghz single core
Nvidia GeForce 440 Go
512mb ram
WinXP

With those, I could even Zakum with only slight lag.

Anything around that stats should work. Though, it sounds in your case, it may be hardware related.

its so sad that now that would be considered to be really bad...and would experience bad lag

that 512mb RAM is like equivilant to 2gbRAM now, mainly because of how much memory the game now takes up

try downloading a graphics card driver (assuming that would be the case)

i doubt the OS has anything to do with the gameplay (maybe a little)...but i think that problems are more focused on registry and programs that block the gameplay of maplestory

Ok so I found out the problem but not realy i changed the refresh rate and then i rurned on ms and it could go on windowed mode i dont know what has to do but i turned it up 2 75hertz

Maybe you can try to uninstall Maplestory from your computer, then reinstall again. Maybe a file that's associated with Maplestory has been corrupted somehow. Hope you can fix this fast be cause i prefer playing in windowed mode more than full screen mode too :P
