how do i not become a cygnus knight. i want to be like a regular maplestory character ie.theif,bowman,mage,fighter.

When you select the option to create a new character you have the choice between Adventurer and Cygnus Knight. Simply click the Cygnus Knight picture and proceed. You may not use an already existing character.
