I was just wondering if sins are like the strongest class in the game o.o. They do way more than everyone else in the 30's~120. If you have any opinions please post them o.o

naw, they arent the stongest in the game, there really isnt a "strongest" in this game on purpose. they may have advantages in certain level ranges just like mages, and dk's. i thought the same thing when i was starting out, as a warrior, i got ks'd more times than i'd like to remember. just keep training, and one day be glad when you train in a map where sins dont train :P

The class with the highest dps would be a low-str corsair on the ship, but that is just pure damage they have no party skills.

Erm.... while were on the subject.... Where do clerics rank among the Social Heiararchy in MapleStory I say this only because we heal and heal and some characters take MAJOR advantage of us... so just sayin'

Any class can be godly with the right amount of funding. Personally, i would choose a hero over a sin anyday.

You shouldn't pick a class for dmg, though, pick one that you will enjoy and have fun with.

I think that sins do heavy dmg but they rely on other classes to stay alive sins need clerics and whatever class has hb most of the time if there isint one then they complain they are the most needy class most of the time no offence

sins themselves seem pretty strong just cause theres tons of them and everyone wants to be one but...if anyone ever were to make an avg normal sin (dex double the lvl) there regular dmg  is actually lower than an archers for the most part their dps is just alot higher.

the only reason sins tend to have higher dmg in most cases is cause NO ONE makes a regular sin everyon generally is low dex, dexless, or a funded and overscrolled char. People pass on their stat build to new players resulting in everyone being  dexless or scrolled characters. thats why you never really see that many sins wearing anything but sauna's or bathrobes. so bascially sins altered stat build are used like  75%+ of the time out of logical guess while others such as low dex warriors lukless mages and strless slingers and archers are MUCH lower. brawlers are generally about the same when it comes to sins most everyone makes dexless brawlers and jsut scrolled for dex.

a bowmaster does more DPS then a nightlord.

 

and a corsair only outdamages a bowmaster with its battleship, not its other skills, and battleship can`t be used often so.

 

Bowmaster wins. ;) Too bad i`m to lazy to get 1~80 on an archer as its a huge pain.

I just wanted to see just HOW MUCH stronger a dexless thief was than another class with "normal" stats.  So I created a night walker character and never increased my DEX.  Then, after it reached lvl 22, I compared it with a lvl 23 Blaze Wizard that had been "Auto-Assigned".  The results were staggering.  =O

I discovered that the Dexless Night Walker had about 20 or so more Accuracy and Avoidability than the Blaze Wizard, and it did about 200-300 more damage with its main Attack skill.

On the other hand, the Weapon Defense and Magic Defense Stats were in favor of the Blaze Wizard.  It's just hard to find Dexless Thief equips that give alot of Defense.

Those were my results.

Yeah, a dexless thief will outshine just about any "normal" character... but if that blaze wizard was luckless, it would have been way more powerful than the dexless thief (because fire pillar attacks a mob, not like the one on one damage the thief can do in first job). I had a low dex thief and wound up selling his stuff to fund my wizards... I just prefer the range and damage and the way they play to all the other classes.
