Well, I'm quite sure they only make the hats/helms look like that so that we will spend money to buy those Transparent Hats. Really, the only reason Transparent items even exist are because some items in the game are purposefully made ugly. Why else would anyone pay for invisible items? Its all carefully thought out by Nexon.
The term "wall of text" only applies to ignorants who do not bother to read their opponent's mostly perfectly valid arguments before immaturily attempting to counter them.
