We are always looking for special people to join our ranks!  Our guild is called OldAndWise2, and we currently are part of the Vintage Alliance with 2 other guilds: OldeFogies and Keybearers who share a philosophy similar to ours.  What is our philosophy?  Well, it boils down to common sense and courtesy towards other players while enjoying playing Maple. 

We are an eclectic group of various ages, various ranks, and various job classes with the common interest of having fun!  Our rules are few:  No hacking; No begging fellow guild or alliance members; No name-calling or racist comments; No swearing; and No spamming the guild or alliance chat.

I just created a character on Broa, his name is JaysHood. Although I'm not a high level, I still know lots about MapleStory because I played it when it came out, quit a while and now I'm back. I'll try to contact you guys in-game.

I have a 29 (Hopefully 30 and 2nd class when this maintenance ends..) Bowman going Hunter that I'd like to get into a guild, as it's somewhat boring not having a group of friends to talk to.

Eh.. Not sure if I wanna level my Bowman or my Thief.. >.>

We have a good group, and our Alliance chat is usually pretty active, depending on who's on at the time.  As far as level goes, it's not the most important thing to us.  If I seem to be on, but don't answer, I'm probably being mobbed.  LOL

K, so I've been in the alliance for... about a week? I don't know, not really paying TOO much attention to that. So far the guild is friendly, like REALLY friendly. I felt like I fit in the moment I joined. It's somewhat family oriented as we have people from all age groups, and because of that orientation, it's almost like a family in and of itself. But yes, so far I love this alliance, and the people in it. <3

LOL!  I know you when you're on, but I can never remember the order of the x's in your name!  Hey, I'm old...no short term memory! 

What are the pros and cons/differences between the three guilds? I am looking for a mature guild also. Its too easy to be mobbed by childish players when in an unorganized guild or one without similar views.

Hmm...well, we all have similar goals, and as an Alliance, we do a lot of things together.  Since we have so many various levels, you might find us doing the Henesys PQ or taking on Pap or Zakum.  We try to keep an eye on maintaining a group that appeals to everyone.  As I said, our rules aren't many, but we do enforce them to assure that everyone is treated fairly.  I'm head of OldAndWise2, and my group probably has the most young people....which is weird, since I'm a pretty old player myself.  But it isn't age that is foremost..it's attitude.  OldeFogies is headed by Lucentia, but since she isn't currently active, I put the name of Jujubee11 if that's the group you'd like to get into.  Keybearers is the other guild in our group, another bunch of great players.  At last count, I believe our highest level was 156, and our lowest as low as 2.  (When a player in the Alliance starts a new character, they often join immediately so as not to miss any of the chat going on with the rest of us.)  Our ages vary widely also, since it's not your age but your level of maturity that makes the difference.  If there's anything else I can answer for you, just contact me here or in-game.
