PrinnyStarz:And Blaze Wizard... I think Nexon used a thesaurus for the word "fire." I wouldn't be surprised if Wind Archer became "Breeze Archer" or "Gale Archer" (actually, gale sounds cool. Or Tempest Archer. As you see, I'm using a thesaurus too).
So far, "Tempest Master" sounds like the best alternate bowman name. I personally like "Cyclone Master" or "Windshear", albeit the latter sounds a bit effeminate.
Turtally: I preferred the old names. I mean, Dawn Warrior? Soul Warrior, at least. Dawn just came out of nowhere. Flame Wizard would have been better than Blaze Wizard, because just SAY Blaze Wizard. It doesn't flow. Wind Archer...what. That just sounds stupid. I know that people might have been immature with Windbreaker, but they could have made it into something less generic. As for Thunder Breaker, Striker was just way more capturing. Thunder Striker would have been okay. AND EREVE? SERIOUSLY? L> EREB@@@

1- Dawn Warrior is a good name, actually its a matter of OPINIONS, and OPINIONS cannot be discussed. It never ends in a conclusive answer.
2- All the names are fine, GMS probably changed for any reason, including the fact of Miss Translation or Unique-Ness from the other versions.
3- Mainly, Ereve and Ereb is not something to complain at all. It is a name, and if you don't like it, read my Number 1
And for everyone. WHY YOU SAY ARCHERS ARE A BAD CLASS? KoC archers may be, but the true ones are NOT D:< [/rant]
SecunX:Erev and Ereb are the same words, just translated from Korean to English, due to Korean not having a character for 'b'.
^
Look. It's right there on the KMS map.
>DixieIsMeh<: daisuke1niwa: Wind Archer, a bad name to match a bad class. You're just jealous cause we look hot and out-damage sins as of 3rd job. D;<

For one, i don't like sins, two, hardly, sins are really strong and nightwalkers break in stats somewhere along the line and the luk:att ratio gets lower so they start doing more damage and three, ohoooho nooo Wind Reavers are bad.

Well, it's called localization, it's supposed to appeal to those of the location that it is being made for. Therefore, it's not a matter of translating, it's a matter of aesthetics.
Why does it matter again if it's not exactly like how one person translated it or if one letter is changed? Anyone that speaks korean, can you tell me how you pronounce "Ereb"? Is it pronounced like "E reev"?

I'm a korean and it can be both ways.
If you have a strong accent on the b/v pronounciation, it will be Ereb. ex. Eh-reh-bhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
If your like me, it will be Ereve. Eh-rev
However, on the korean map, it's spelled 에레브. That makes it the eh-reh-b accent. one with the strong b/v.
If it was Erev, it would probably be spelled 에렙. The v isn't very... heard. It usually would sound something like Eh-re-

I also think it may be because they felt if they kept it ereb, people would think they were unimaginative because ereb is just bera backwards
