Towards the bottom-right of the Ellinia map you will see a tall flower. Stand on it and press the up arrow. Its a secret portal that leads to where Mar the Fairy is. Enjoy your 5 hour snail. Be advised that if you don't have the meso/item bag, binoculars, etc from the cash shop that the pet will basically just be decoration. Also, it cannot be revived after it dies.

no idea what the PC means on king slime. ask the maple developers?  i dunno.

yea most of us mentors either know a lot about the game, in one way or another. think of the journey from 1-200 qualifies you to know quite a lot. and although im not 200 yet i do know a lot about every class. some more than others.

if i was you i'd purchase every monster card thats unobtainable from tienk. cause he might be vanishing next patch. :P

Thanks for your advice, I already started buying boss cards.  Right know I have mastered the following King Slime, Alishar, Lord Pirate, and Frenkenroid I also have 3 out of 5 of the Papa Pixie cards.  So in total I have spent a total of 58,300 leaves, of which I collected myself.  The leaves are to expensive to buy, so I just do the quiz as often as I can (I get an average of 30 of the 50 questions correct).

I forgot to mention that when I get 30 questions correct I get 450 maple leaves.  The patter for the quiz is as follows, every question you get correct = 5 leaves, but when you get to 10 correct questions you get a bonus 50 leaves (total of 100 leaves if all questions are correct at this point), at 20 correct questions you get another bonus of 100 leaves (total of 250 leaves if all questions are correct at this point), at 30 correct questions you get another bonus of 150 leaves (total of 450 leaves if all questions are correct at this point), at 40 correct questions you get another bonus of 200 leaves (total of 700 leaves if all questions are correct at this point), and at 50 correct questions (all of them) you get another bonus of 250 leaves (total of 1,000 leaves if all questions are correct at this point).  And just so you know each time you get 10 questions correct the bonus is 50 more leaves than before.  And in case you are wondering I have never gotten 40 or 50 questions correct, so those are just guesses I made based on the fact that it comes out so nicely to an even 1,000 leaves which takes up exactly 1 slot in the etc. inventory window.

Maple Bow drops from lonely Mushroom, Green Trixter, Rumo, Lunar Pixie & Sr. Bellflower Root. You can also get them from Gachapon (only for the next two weeks) but you have a better chance hunting for it than gaching. There's a droplist on the MapleStory website of all Maple Weapons, click here to view it :D

    Good luck.

    Re: The Maple Mentor Program

quite a fine taste, you got there.

unfortunatly a blue maple bandana, (if you mean the fancy one, the one that doesnt look like some failure gang member bandana) is very rare and expensive. the only way you could get it is if its added to the karma scissors list and it becomes tradable.

    Re: The Maple Mentor Program

    How much are steel/bronze ores?

What kinds of throwing stars are there? Also where to get them?

    How much are maple bows?

    If it matters

    Weapon attack : 47

    Speed +7

    Knockback 36%

    Number of upgrades available 7

Also when is the best time to sell them?

    Re: The Maple Mentor Program

steel ores can be anywhere from 10-30,000 mesos each. bronze ores are essentially worthless.

throwing stars ranged from subis to balanced fury stars, 15 base atk( i think) to 30

    subi - bought

wolbi - dropped from weak monsters

    snowball - dropped

    mokbi- dropped

    wooden top - dropped

paper planes - havent seen them

    oranges - from himes

icicles - can be bought from Mo. the npc (this is essentially the best star for people that start out)

maplestars - from the maple event a few years ago

    tobi - dropped from monsters

steely  - drops from almost every monster

illbi - drops from spider/ MM/ lycans/ dual birk/ this is one of the best higher end stars

    hwabi - drops from Crimsonrog

crystal illbis- made using ICTG items

balanced fury stars - made using 3 Taos, 30 feathers, and 100 refined Black crystals, this is the best star for higher lvl classes

as for your maple bow, id upgrade it to make it worth something. usually maple items are worth 1-10m once upgraded. based on atk.

    Re: The Maple Mentor Program

Hwabi are also dropped by Jr. Balrog, according to my Monster Book. =)

To the previous question on the King Slime (PC), I believe the PC stands for Party Creature, seeing as it can also be summoned from a Summoning Sack, as brought up previously. It wouldn't surprise me either way.

Like the lot of you mentors, I have been around for quite some time. I just never spend time training. I seek out bugs, and help out lower leveled players get their Maple Lives in gear. If anyone that plays in Bera needs help, feel free to hit up HunterGenrou. (I generally reside in Channel 6 Henesys, unless I'm out helping other players). I'm currently a level 98 Ranger, and I plan on getting in gear, and reaching level 120.

Although I am not a Mentor, I will still pop in every now and then to lend my advice. =)

    last name

    Re: last name

I just attempted to find my Last name through the website, and I was unable to do so. Upon moving to change my account info, it asked for the Last name. So it appears that Nexon requires you to remember the last name you used to make the said account. I would suggest logging a ticket. It may not help, but at least it's an attempt. They will probably say that your account information is sensitive, and it is your responsibility to keep track of said information.

    I hope everything works out.
    Happy Mapling.

Nexon does not give out account information, ever so if you've forgotten it you can't do anything to find it out again. Next time if you're going to use false information (which is actually breaking the ToS) make sure that you at least write your information down somewhere safe.
