    Suggestion: A way to eliminate lag in FM Main

    I found the easiest way to eliminate lag in Free Market Main.

    Here it is:
    Now Hennesy's will keep its current Free Market Main map...but every other town would gain their own free market main map.
    For example the Free Market Main of Aqua Road would be underwater themed.

    But as a afterthought I notice that there are 17 different free market entrances (includes non global areas) and I am unsure if Nexon would want to make 16 new base maps for Free Market.

    Any thoughts?

    I think it's a good way to eliminate lag in the main area of FM. I think it would clog the individual rooms though. The people that go to the main area to spam sales or the annoying bots would have to move into the rooms to be able to be seen by all people, not just the people in that town.

    I'm all for clearing up clutter and lag in fm though :)

    I'm pretty sure we had something similar to that before Nexon made all of the Free Markets of every town connected into one Free Market as a whole. Before Nexon changed the Free Market, Ch1 Perion was the most populated place with people selling and buying. Note that this was before Shops were introduced.

    Awful idea.. :\

    People would choose one town and make it a shopping center.

    Then we'll have to fly to Henesys every single time we need to sell something.

     

    But I have an idea for you to eliminate lag in FM- get faster internet.

    Imposing a level limit would be a better idea. Say... level 25 just to enter. Unfunded noobs don't have enough money to go in there anyway and anyone who is funded can go on their main. It would cut down on the number of people in there. It would eliminate the meso advertisers ad get rid of money-begging noobs who are too lazy to go out and hunt for mesos.

    For that matter, I'd like to see a level limit imposed on player trades. It's go a long way to stop meso begging.

    YEAH.

    There should be a level requirement. o;<

    Who needs the FM before level 25 anyway? :3

    I think you misunderstood what the purpose would be. The Main sections would seperate but the rooms would be the same rooms in every free market it is just the MAIN room which would seperate. This way there would be less spamming in free market main.

    Someone else suggested a "chat trigger" type thing that would require you to wait till the chat bubble goes away before enter another chat. I think that and adding a 5 second delay before chats would help alot.

    I used to never have a problem in the FM, as of the last month or so I cant even enter the fm. I go into fm 2 go to the room I want the CC to 1, CC back to 2 go into another room and repeat the process.

    Your suggestion will be much more effective and easier if it is the other way around.   All Free Market entrances in Victoria Island should go to each of their own room because those themes already exist.   All other entrances around the world should go to one big one.  It will take those FM spammers at least 15 minutes to go from maple island to other towns.  This should lower their spawn rate.  XP
