I'm seeking a guild I can seriously be in for a long time. For a while I've never liked guilds because they're mostly just for the guild party quests, people using them to get a zhelm, or trying to mooch off of the high levels.
What I want is a serious, game playing guild. I don't mind Guild Party Quests, but what I'm really after is a well-mannered, rule-abiding guild. Just once I want to log in and NOT be greeted by tiers of low levels asking me to do stuff for them. For once I want to be in the middle of non-guild business and not be interrupted by the guild leader because he wants us all to do something together. No stupid "guild events" and stuff like that.
It's not that I just want another title under my name. I like working in a guild. But when I'm in a normal guild it always turns out that the leader depends on me for some leadership, or the low levels want something out of me. And sometimes, we just don't get along. Often time the other guild members are rude to each other and to other people.
And I'm not looking for a namby-pansy guild either. People just need to understand where they stand in the rankings. Jr. Guildies need to stop using the guild banner as a chat room, an lowbies need to stop begging for rank-ups.
