i kept dcing since morning ever since i activated the agent quest.. replacing the hsield files didn't help. I'm reinstalling the game right now so i'll post if it helps in anyway..

I have been getting dc'd about every ten minutes for the last week with the 66307 error. Very frustrating. Can't really play the game anymore because of it. Reinstalled the client, updated HackShield and still no luck.

After todays patch things have gone from bad to worse....... same 66307 message - but now every 5 minutes.

Looks like I'm done until a solution is available.

Hello everyone! Hopefully everything besides this Hackshield thing is going well! In any case, here comes:

 Erc's rundown list:

• Jay's Curiosity is "broken." Even with Bob the Snail's shell, as soon as you talk to Jay and select the (only) option "Yeah, he's here with me." nothing happens at all.

• I must admit, the Agent quests ARE confusing. It took me about 10 minutes to realize the Watermelon thing was actually a Jump Quest. I was hitting watermelons left and right before that. xD So maybe a small bit of tweaking to clarify it? Also, I do like the challenge. Keep in mind though folks, even if you can't get past a certain map, there are others you can try. Plus you can go as many times as you want, so what's the big deal on them?^^;
  

• While we're on the subject of the Agent quests, 30 minutes in a Mini-dungeon seems a bit long to wait to get a badge. I mean, we need 100 of these things and we have to wait half an hour for each one? Kudos on the wandering NPC though, that was a nice touch.

• I saw in the update notes that there is a quest for lvl 90+ regarding Time Temple. I AM Level 90 and see no such quest. Is this a typo and I actually need to be lvl 91, or a boo boo? Haven't been there yet so I can't confirm.

• The medal system is really cool and all that, but why does the title itself include the word "medal" in it? For instance, on the title Quest Specialist, why does it say "Quest Specialist Medal?" I would suggest that it should just have the title, after all we know there's a medal that comes with it. xD
  

I know it's a rather short list and nothing regarding Elin Forest is listed yet, but it's mostly because I haven't been there yet. I'll be working on adding more to this list in the near future. Thanks for reading! :)

Due to the new Alert Gm system, When you right click someone and press "Alert Gm", it instead acts as if you have pressed "Add Junior". When you click "Add Junior" Nothing happens.

 

When you are in a Chat Room, clicking the Alert GM Button does nothing. No window pops up.

ok so now what i deleted all the files excpt those 12 i can still go in ms but whn i check my hs flder everything came back

omg i wanna play damit

gm tell us how to fix it

I open it to start running.
It pauses (normal to starting up a game)
Nothing happens.
No prompt or anything.

I just want to play a bit...

When you delete all those Hackshield files it doesnt even work anymore just says updat error Hackshield fails

MapleStory Fail.

Yeah, everytime i bring up ms i click "Play" it goes to the patcher, then just freezes up.

10/21 Community Diary: There I was...

Could you please provide a download link to hslist.txt? That was the one file I didn't have in my HShield folder, like several others have mentioned in this thread.

I like the boss rush. However, when I'm in the Ellin Forest place I d/c every few minutes. This makes it difficult to complete the new PQ. And the NPCs don't even talk. O_o The agent stuff seems a bit confusing as well.

The agent stuff is very confusing.

Talk to Agent C and deliver the Secret Letter of Seecrets to Agent B.6  at the secret resort of the secret agents and hand him 4 watermelons, then he will give you a magical agent badge that you will give you Agent J who's involved with Agent L who live in Agentia.

You get the point right?

And to make it more confusing,  you get many Agent quests at once. Would be a lot easier if you got one after you finished another.
