This is something that should be posted here. If it isn't already

    Hey I have a question.

What stats should you train to be the individual Classes? Specifically an Archer

I was just playing maple story trying to get as many monster cards for my monster book.  But then I looked at the last page of the monster book and noticed that it showed all bosses on that page.  One of the bosses was "King Slime (PC)" what does the (PC) mean?  I also wanted to know...  Being that I am level 101, how am I supposed to get monster cards from other bosses sucks as "Alishar", "Papa Pixie", and "Lord pirate" since they are party quest bosses and the party quests have a max level limit.  This is only a problem because the monster book came out after I had already passed level 100.

pc means party quest. its in kerning city.

I thought that it would be party quest from the start, but then I realized that the other bosses (such as alishar, lord pirate, and zakum etc.) didn't say (PC) next to them and they are all bosses that you fight in party quests.  The other thing is that king slime can be summoned from a summoning bag, I just haven't used one of those summoning bags.  I figure that king slime is the only different one because it is the only party quest boss that can be summoned from the summoning bag, my thought is that "(PC)" just means that the summoning bag king slime dosn't drop it.

    Warrior - Str & Dex
    Magician - Int & Luk
    Archer - Dex & Str
    Pirate - Str & Dex
Thief - Luk & Dex (Assassin) Luk/Dex Or Luk/Str (Bandit)

(I already replied to you in your other thread about this :P

    Monster Book?

I see the basis of this invention, but if the cards are a rare drop how are we possible going to get from Bosses even with 2x Exp.

I've actually seen card's drop quite frequently during boss runs. It's not as bad as you think (But maybe the run's i've been on have just been lucky). Just because they are considered to be "Special Card's" doesn't mean they are super rare. If you go bossing you'll be able to find some within a few runs. In the end it all kinda depends on luck. It's just like a big quest, i guess that's supposed to be the challenge & fun of them.

     Good luck finding cards :)

    Re: New monster book

Normal Bosses seem to drop cards every time they're killed, minibosses on the other hand, are quite rare to obtain, they have a similar drop rate, but much worse spawn on the minibosses makes them a rarity.

I know that someone already responded to your question, but I just wanted to point out that 2x Exp shouldn't affect the drop rate of monsters/bosses.  I think what you mean is 2x Drops.

    Re: The Maple Mentor Program

This is a remarkable idea. Mentors. I love it. We in our guild entitled the Ambassadors, have been doing the same thing for over a year and we are so proud to know, that in all this time, we have been mentoring. We just thought we were good players, helping other players, namely beginners or newcomers become more adjusted to the gameplay and help them with our providing mesos and equipment, plus armor.  Had no idea that is who we were if not recognized, that would be us, mentors. We and our guild, are mentors. We as a Guild, explain all to them when they ask, we show them around and educate them to the ways of the game. We are mentors. Wow. Nice to know this, though go silently unmentioned. If any newcomer or beginner needs our mentorship, we are proudly there to do just that for you. Look for Crisjoe, the leader of the Guild, Ambassadors and we shall never turn you away. Glad to be of such high honor and service.

    Haha, hahaha...

So, only lv 200s are qualified to give advice on the game?

No. Everyone is welcome to contribute advice & idea's too...

Plus, two of the six Maple Mentors are not Level 200 -- CriticalLag (19x MM) & icedevil11 (18x NL - Dylanlan). There were possibly other level's that were offered to be apart of the program, but not everyone accepted the offer. Also level 200's should know the game well & may have more free time, so maybe that's why more level 200's were offered the position than other levels.

The "Stumpy" monster card should show up on the last page of your book (the gold tab), I bought a king slime card and that is where it is.  The gold tab is the page that all the bosses are located.

If you are going to try again, I wanted to know if you know how to turn pages.  Because the Gold Tab in which the "Stumpy" Boss is on, contains more that 1 page of monsters.  So if you would click on the yellow right arrow that points in that direction (>),  It should take you to the second page of bosses, of which "Stumpy" is the very first monster on page 2.

    Re: New monster book

no idea what the PC means on king slime. ask the maple developers?  i dunno.

yea most of us mentors either know a lot about the game, in one way or another. think of the journey from 1-200 qualifies you to know quite a lot. and although im not 200 yet i do know a lot about every class. some more than others.

if i was you i'd purchase every monster card thats unobtainable from tienk. cause he might be vanishing next patch. :P

notice: Dylanlanlan / Dylanlanian is not me, its from a hacker guild
