i did it, and im still logged on at this moment for about 10 min now

PPL with Windows XP This is what you do.

1. go to the start menu and click run
2. type in cmd.exe or just cmd You'll get a black window and this is the command prompt
   
3. then type in the command line   netsh winsock reset catalog   Then Press enter
4. It will tell you to restart for changes to take effect
5. in the next command line type in shutdown -r close all windows
   
6. when comp is booted back up run MS and it should work.  It did for me.

PPL with Windows VISTA This is what you do.

1. Click on Start button.
2. Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.
3. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter, keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.
4. Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.
5.  Close all window's and then restart.
6. run ms.

yes im getting an hackshield intilization error 469696500. what could this be.

same here!!! please nexon, fix the dam dcing problem T.T this problem is getting really annoying, dcing every 20 to 30 min, and sometimes even 10 min or less

the exact error window that pops up says:

HackShield: Initialization Error (-469696500)

This error occurs when a problem not in the above list occurs.

Hi Hime. Heres a few things I have noticed happening when I have been playing . I think its related to the latest updates. There is an extreme amount of lagging going on. It makes it very difficult to to train and / or boss. I died 3 times on Friday 2x event due to extreme lagging. And you guys have even posted on the Banner at top of the page to train on higher channels, but it didn't make alot of difference to me. Also, when my guild on Yellonde tried to do a Zakum run, many people were being 'kicked' from server with a error msg. from the hack shield. I know people who have had this error dc them 4 times in a row during Zakum runs, and I am beginning to think it is something in the patch causing this, so you might want to look into it.

As to the content of the updates, I like the BPQ very much. I think its nice how high and low lvls can boss together. Its very exciting to go through so many bosses and see how far you can push your skills. The buffs from the KOC quests are also very helpful how easily they can be repeated. I have been using them alot.

It is kind of difficult to get the entire agent outfit. I think most people will only have a few pieces, but I am glad you made some of them permanent. I don't really like so many of the 'expiring' items. Please let us have some more of the 'good ol' days' when we got to KEEP and TRADE MORE of these special quest items. OHH and one more thing, please I hope you are going to have some summer GM events? We miss the interaction with GMs and more summonings please. thanks

OHhh i almost forgot, the Time Temple looks awesome, and turning into a dragon and flying is way kewl. I can't wait till I am high enough lvl to do the quests there.

MapleStory v.72 is GREAT compared to a few years ago... since there have been MANY bug fixes. ^^ But really, the last patch brought quite a lot of bugs and errors, so perhaps it was rushed a little? Agent things are good, except I don't think many people bothered getting the glove since 50 hours of mapling needed to be... used up. Boss PQ is really awesome! (except for the fact that it uses up heaps of pots) I wonder if it will come back?

I have an issue with the nx fee being upped to 500 nx. As stated by nexon, this is to help lower the amount of people using the mts for storage. I ask you, how is increaseing the nx fee going to accomplish this? It wont. The only thing is does is add more nx to the "black hole" that the fees get sucked into. This is strcitly a move on the part of Nexon to force people to go out and buy more nx. Its obvious that greed is behind this. nothing more.

 Ok, the constructive part. There is a simple way to get people to either stop using the mts for storage (or at least slow it down dramaticaly). Simply raise the listing fee to 50k or 100k per item. Or, do like frederick does in the fm. if items are left in his care when a shop closes, you charge a fee to keep them there. going up daily. implement that kind of charge in the mts.

When you effect the mesos of a player, they are alot less likely to use the mts for storage. Raising the nx fee will do nothing but lower the amount of people that do legit sales there. Not the storage folks.
