There is no level requirement, to my knowledge. There's SUPPOSED to be an 'etc' option when you talk to Steward that's called 'The Trap',(there's no quest bubble for this one) but I really don't know for certain- it doesn't appear for me, either. >__<;. It just tells me to go to Olivia's room, and has no second option- which is what I'm assuming it's doing for you, as well. I think we both have a glitch, somehow- I just wish I knew where to report it. .__.
I hope that someone else who's had this problem can help us resolve it(if that's possible)- it's rather frustrating spending all that time doing the quests that precede that one, finishing this one, and getting no reward for doing so. >_<;.
I am having the same problem with a level 30+ character of mine. The funny thing is that my level 41+ character has two instances of "The Trap" activated at the same time. When I look at "The Trap" in the quest window on my level 41+ character, it does say it's for "All Levels", so don't think it's an issue of level being too low.
My guess is that it's a bug and I am hoping that it will get fixed during the Daylight Savings server maintenance. If not, what I'm going to do is collect a bunch of dolls and level up to 41. I've heard that when you level up to the next bracket, you will be forced to repeat the entire line of quests specific for that level bracket. So I'm hoping that it will then allow me to activate the quest and turn in the dolls for the chair (seeing how my other level 41+ character is able to activate "The Trap" quest.
I'm glad to see that it's not just me- that glitch has been frustrating me to no end, and I thought that perhaps the game randomly decided to hate me. .__.;. I wonder why there aren't any other people below 41 complaining, though. o-o;. If more people complained, they'd be more likely to fix the glitch. I'm also hoping that the maintenance will fix it- it's not fair that people lower than 41 can't get the chair, when we were told that we could. And I don't see why it wouldn't let you do that- the dolls are the same, after all. I think I'll try that(if the glitch isn't fixed), as well- that way, at least the chair would be obtainable. Well, server maintenance has come and gone and I see that the problem still persists. I'll be leveling to 41, it seems. It's not too much for my character, but I really feel for those who may already have 20+ dolls, but are still 20 levels away from 41.
I do hope that leveling to 41 will work and that the game will let me trade in my dolls. Perhaps I'll come back in several days to say if it did or not.
oDartzx:Well, I did these quests bac when i was lvl 18, finished off when i was level 30. I didn't recieve any quest named "The trap", So i went back to training. Came back at level 40 and STILL nothing, SO i thought oh wth went and leveled to 41 came back and BAM, Had to re-do all of those quests and i got my chair so its now official that you need to be level 41+ to recieve unless you go and stupidly buy one.
Cool, thanks for confirming that leveling to 41 will allow us to get that chair. Now I have some motivation to get that character up to 41 now.
Same here. :). At least it's confirmed that we can get them at that level- not being able to get the chair at all (without spending millions) would stink. .__.
I really wish they had just told us that in the first place, instead of getting our hopes up. >_<;. Stupid misleading quest. >_<;.
hey Im having the same issue but with Jonas Presence 2....I already gave sophilia's doll to jonas but.. nothing... it doesnt appear anywhere I talked to all the npcs there still nothing comes up. . And olivia wants me to collect those 25 keys again...

Did you finish the quests before, or after you hit level 42? If you were already level 41 when you completed them, then the game seems to have yet another glitch regarding this quest. If you were below 41, then the game is making you redo all of the quests because you passed the level cap. :(. It's annoying, but unfortunately, that's how it seems to work. I'm not looking forward to redoing it myself- the key quest was extremely annoying. .__.
If it is a glitch, perhaps it'll be fixed with tonight's server check. *crosses fingers*
If Olivia is asking for the 25 keys again, my guess is that he passed the level cap some time after completing the first round of quests and now is being forced to redo it. I would just do the quests again and see what happens. Though I do agree. The gold keys are a pain to collect.
My guess is that once he finishes the quests again, he will have two instances of "The Trap" available. That's what happened on my other level 41+ character.
I have the same problem, i have finished and collected 20 olivia dolls on 3 (THREE) of my lv 31+ characters and NONE of them get "The Trap" option to trade in the dolls with the butler for a chair. But yet I do get that option on my lv 41+ character.
I seriously dont think or accept the fact if the part of the lv 31+ Olivia quest includes HAVING TO LEVEL TO 41 to get the chair >.< that would mean the 41+ and 61+ characters should have to level 10 levels too to make it fair!
i think its an annoying glitch.. why would they even have the lv 31+,41+,61+ separate quests if the lv 31+ ones gotta wait till 41 to get the last doll trade in quest
does nexon even know this problem yet?
