I've more or less stopped playing now due to a mix of work and boredom.  There's absolutely no time to play during the week and then on the weekend, there are usually other things I'd like to be doing.   Once some new stuff comes out though, I'll be more active again.

Get someone to buy a pass from Gilmore and trade it to you

Could they even be refunded if you wanted to?  Since they're activated if you buy them, I wouldn't be too sure that the store that sold you it could get their money back or even put them on the shelves again.   I'd try to find someone in person to sell them too, or ebay them
