I would say somewhere from 10k-20k, but there are many people that sell them for 30k. If you wait long enough, someone will sell you one cheap though =] I am not an expert on this though, so this is just my opinion.

Different NPCs can modify certain weapons so my guess is that Fergus just can't modify your type of weapon.

Its the series of quests you receive when you purchase one of the premium services in the cash shop. It has a story and you can get unique features to the game by doing it such as becoming a paladin, dark knight, etc.

I don't think its necessary unless you want to use firebolt counter (which is extremely helpful). You can survive without magic, but I think it will just make it harder if you don't get firebolt to at least Rank F

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a purpose other than giving it as a gift to NPCs by dragging it from the inventory and clicking on the NPC you wish to give it to.
