See, the only reason I thought this was a bug is because, tailoring gives you materials, and dosent make you go out and make it yourself.   But Ile just toughen up I guess.

Im not positive this is a bug or not but: When I talk to Elan about a Part-Time job, it is acceptable, but virtualy imposible. Because the NPC dosent give you shop ore you can use, you are forced to go into barri dungeon, and fight off monsters which takes more then 12 minutes (Or 12 Hours Game time) . This feels more buglike ...
