If you look at your weapon, it might say, 2 hit slow weapon. That means, you can hit twice before an enemy is knocked back. So, N+1 means, you can hit 3 times, instead of 2. The method of N+1 is, for example, you have a claymore or 2hand, you hit the monster once, wait until your left or right foot moves back, than you hit the enemy another 2 ...
