Hahaha, there was Nexon back then here in singapore..it closed down i believe(since i cant see any ads regarding nexon)

It was notable for its release of Tatical Commander(or i think that's the title) back in 2000...

No offence but I really wouldn't like to see mabinogi with a Singapore/Malaysia community. The game will just be flooded by rude peoples. 

I AM Malaysian, you saying that is kind of offensive because lots of people here want to play. Even though most of them are rude so WHAT you think YOUR country dosen't have rude people?

I've met a lot of great people from SG/MY
I've even asked some to play Mabinogi, but the IP block put a stop to that..

Hmm, that's sad. I agree with Elric that it would be filled with rude people who scream dialect vulgarities and totally localise and spoil such a game. Still, I agree with Sai that it's too generalised. I'd love to play this game, but sadly, I'm a Singaporeon. :/

If it's only restricted to North America, I don't get why it's

"available in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and (ONLY) recently, North America."

Not meaning to be rube but YEA that was from Wiki. Perhaps you should read more then the announcements.
It'd be nice if they create one for everyone though. :D
(that way it's unlikely the-unable-to-appreaciate-a-well-graphic-game singaporeans would find it- till it's too late that is, haha)

They were in the process of buying the license is the rumor.

To expand. I'll use Aeria Games as an example. Since their game (I won't say which) is also IP blocked because the other branches didn't want players from their region going to the US one. Namely the EU one which demanded all EU IPs be blocked on the US servers.

So the NA IP ban is to "encourage" (AKA force) players to stick to their regions. Its a silly marketing tactic imo
