Seems like theres a surge in packet editting with the start of the event.

A particular forum that's elite of the pvp nature has openly released a packet editor program as well as a complete hackshield bypass.

Among the few things ive seen in the past few days: 

~Magnum shot modders are running rampant and ruining guild wars.

~Item dupe is back

~4 stamps can be collected in 1 hour from the owl event

~it is possible to fish iria treasure chests out at a rapid rate (20-100 a minute). Thus, it's possible to get hundreds of abysmal/quartz/etc enchants and items in a matter of minutes

~some people have even claimed that they can packet edit to "choose" the item they recieve from the owl event though this has not been confirmed

~bot "vac hack". I've seen some bot in solea actually vaccumm all the monsters into one corner, have god mode on, and just windmill spam the out of them.

With the packet editor open to the public, this will only be the beginning of many more bizarre and unfair exploits to the game. Please do something about the packet edittor program and try to block it =(

It's quite insane.

There's absolutely no excuse for any of this to be ignored, yet they continue to do so. It really doesn't help the image of incompetence Nexon is known for, either. If they're ever going to fix that, they're going to have to actually put some effort into cleaning up their game.

That's funny because I know for a fact that your guild does half this stuff I just listed. Name which ones aren't doable then? The only one im not sure exists is the choosing ur item one but even so, I'm sure someone probably has. It's weird how particular individuals get a karis every time....someone on the ruairi server already has 3 karis from one day

Actually, all of it is do-able.

I don't know about the iria chest fishing one though. 

 

The iria fishing one is very real. In tir today while passing by, I saw iria 50 chests lying outside at TIR CHORNAIL with some Loyal Ruari guild members....

I asked them what's going on and they just said "R1 fishing".

mods are ok, especially PMG editing + mp3 exchange, but packet editing is just... yeah... even I have to say its just bad..

i dont like hack exploit. but no point keep whine about it just come back with this problem all over again. hacker enjoy decoding nexon code. it just a game to them

actually jazz doesn't approve but this is the 20 thread ive seen about this stuff. and he is right. you need to prove it. or else nothing will happen. its not an attitude its the truth ive been hear for a long time and the only time something is done is when here are pics to prove it. like the gold duping issue had pics. and remember what happened? half the people who where banned where legits. they came across the bad gold by accident what ever that means. SO by all means bring on the bans and watch while legit get banned again while the ones who cause the trouble walk away unscathed.
