So I have currently been working on G3 and I have had no troubles up to this point until ive reached the dreaded Baol dungeon. I am a mage so I use only magic for attacking, but the most "wonderful" thing about Baol dungeon is that you are unable to charge magic once inside. How on earth am I suppose to beat it without my magic. I do not want to train my combat skills just for this dungeon since 1: I wouldnt be a mage then would I. and 2: I would have to use ap on something i dont want to have to use. How do I beat Baol then?

Either just dispatch them the long way using melee, or just spam orbs and pray you don't get a hellhound + monster combo.

Pure builds are generally not recommended, and this is why. Not Baol Infiltration specifically, but that there are situations where one or the other tactic is ineffective for whatever reason.

1) Who says? There are no classes in Mabi for a reason. It's only leftover rules from Dungeons and Dragons that say mages can't do melee fighting, but these have unfortunately been picked up by just about every MMORPG out there except Mabi.  By pretending a rule exists where it really doesn't, you cripple yourself. (Was Gandalf from Lord of the Rings a wizard? What was he doing with that sword then, if this is such a hard and fast rule?)

2) If you want more AP, there's always rebirth.

Hire two strong guys to windmill the crud out of everything in every room?

Could always wait for G9 and get the golem skill, then summon golems to fight for you and clear the place.

 That will be a while though, since G8 just came out. 

I know a few pure mages who managed to do Baol infil just fine, granted it took one of them 7 hours to beat it That was before they made infiltration mind numbingly easy too. If you have a mount I'd say opt for the old hit and run and if you dont then you gotta do things the old fashion way and kill whatever chases after you

You have to solo the dungeon

Some of my recommendations:

 

1. Shortcut all your pets summoning, and returning, so you can call them, let them hit the mobs once, and return them immediately so they would be safe.

2. Get a leather long bow and some arrows, so you can just lure a single mob out and let your pet buddies help you out.

3. A good pet AI might help :)  

I know this might be slow, but it's probably the safest way to do it.
