The only reason other than looks you would use a light het for is if you couldd get your hands on a VERY high grade one 3/0 or 3/1, it makes it alot easier to prof for the +defence mod and has better overall defence until then (although its only +1)

I see 3/0s for about 300-500k in ruairi server and the only few 3/1s ive seen were NFS, pricewise a normal kite shield would be much better for practical use while if you were rich you could get a 4/0 via modding it much quicker than a normal kite.
