    ok- the point f this thread is to post any ideas for the things you think would be nice to see in mabinogi: new skills, more gear, gameplay modes, whatver ideas pop into your head. feel freee to add anything, as this is not a request thread, but an idea thread. please try to keep your ideas withing some form of reason though, nothing rediculously OP or just pointless.

    if you dont get the full idea, or even if you do, here are a few of my ideas as example:

    1 dark element spells: we have fire ice and lightning, plus light in the form of healing and G10 demigod skills, but no real dark skills. here are my dark spell deas:

    dark bolt(of course): releases 2 hits per cast, both of which gain in power with each charge. all charges are released in a single cast.(in other words, this is a 2 hit spell that grows in power with each charge, with no mana cost reduction, and no additional power increase like ice and fie bolt, respectively)

    dark cloud: summons a black cloud 3/4 the size of an average dungeon room, dealing damage over time to all monsters in the area of effect. (watch out here come all of the complications) this spell is advanced magic, and behaves as such(requires all 5 charges, cannot move when charged, wand required, etc.) does not kill oppnoents in the AoE, bringing them to deadly status when significantly damaged. Does NOT cause monster aggro, but makes monsters agressive. max aim for ranged attacks from within the cloud, or to targets in the cloud, is reduced by 15%. lasts 25 seconds, but only 15 to fully charge. sperate clouds act as such, damaging at set rates completely ignorant of each other's

    2 new wepon classes - yes there is plenty available to those who look, but a few new weapon types would do well to enhance variety.

    spears: mabinogi is one of few games lacking these. slow, 2 hit attacks with almost no splash, long reach, fairly max attack, above average balance and crit, and a boost with smash would make a formidale 2 - handed weapon that could be realisticly wielded by elves, and used well witn giant shields.

    magic swords: for all the melee-mages and low leve mages out there that cant get wands & advanced magic yet, sword class weapons with stats adjusted to suit spell casting more than melee, while providing a more applicable weapon in a tight situation. running meditation would be allowed, but advanced magic would be left out. some chain casting may be possible, but not the full +4...more than likely only +1 or +2. these swords would also be more decorative, owing to their lowered combat use, and to the possible magical traits of the decorations.
