I don't think it's so much an issue with Nexon changing their name to BlockParty, than an actual string of issues. Even if you've only played a single Nexon game semi-diligently, you're almost guarnteed to see, if not be involved in, a majority of problems, especially problems that *seem* to have simple solutions.
I say *seem*, because I am not a developer, nor have I ever hosted a game, so it's up in the air how difficult it actually is to solve said problems.
If you take these problems I mentioned earlier, and then add on the thought of the company that you diligently game under becoming what appears to be Myspace/Facebook for preteens (which, let's face it, does irritate the older crowd that plays these games, with said crowd being much larger than what most people actually think), you get a mass paranoia, frustration, and other not-so-positive reactions.
This is not to say that this couldn't end positively either. What we all have seen so far has only been a teaser, they may have things also planned for the older crowd of people. For all we know, this whole BlockParty thing may actually open a line of communication between us, the players, and them, the host/developers, to actually approve the games that they're hosting already.
Of course, this is all optimistic, best possible scenerio type of thinking, but at the end of the day, unless this seriously ruins the games I play to the point of unplayability (which is also a possibility, on the whole other end of the spectrum), I don't plan on quitting anything just quite yet.
All we can do is sit here and cross our fingers that maybe this will actually be a positive change of pace for once. At least, of course, until we receive more information regarding all of this.
