De
There is a young girl with dark brown hair in a school uniform looking down as you approach her.
She seems to pay attention at times and then wanders off into space.
Her eyes sparkling behind her brown thick glasses and eyes you from time to time.
She seems very timid when speaking and talks to fast when she becomes nervous. However, there is something about her that seems strange and abnormal but can’t quiet put your finger on it. Her skin and face are very pale that it is too hard to tell if she’s sick or not.
She also likes to carry a sketch book in her hands most of the times.
Deanna’s Quote: ”You can’t change a person. They can only change themselves. No matter what.”
Rian
A handsome young man is wearing a tailored shirt that makes a shade in sepia color over his lean body.
His red hair is contrasting against his pale face and fair skin.
Although he's a noble-looking young man, it is difficult to find any facial expression in his face at all.
From time to time, he makes a deep breath that sounds more like a sigh.
Ruairi
Ruairi is one of the three legendary warriors of Erinn.
His best friends are Mari and Tarlach.
He was the swordsman of the group, exceptionally skilled with combat.
Once, when he was younger, he had a dream where Goddess Morrighan called him to come to Tir Na Nog and rescue her.
Ruairi is well muscled and always well prepared for fighting.
His younger brother is Rian, the Lord of Emain Macha.
Esras
Esras is a beautiful lady in a resplendent dress that reminds you of a grand Priest's ceremonial robe.
Her skin is so pale that it seems almost transparent, yet her hair is shiny and full of life.
She has a confident manner and her voice rings out in a clear tone.
As soon as she feels my gaze, she stares back cooly at me with her lavender eyes.
Esras is Emain Macha's prime minister and druid. In Ruairi’s eyes, she is trustworthy enough to leave his brother, Rian, in her care when he leaves the castle to train as a Paladin.
Aodhan
Aodhan's sharp features mirror his expression. He has thick eyebrows above sharp azure eyes, a thin nose, and an angular chin. Aodhan's thin lips are taut with determination. The single braid hanging from his short hair instantly identifies him as a Knight. Tall and sure of himself, he sticks out his chest as he talks, leaving a powerful impression over those around him. Aodhan guards Emain Macha's castle. Aodhan becomes De’s very first friend in Emain Macha after Rian told Aodhan to take care of her while he was busy taking care of Emain Macha’s street fight.
Aodhan's Quote: "My sword is for protection. It is not for slaying delicuents...”
Nao
A beautiful girl in a black dress with intricate patterns. Her deep azure blue eyes remind everyone of an endless blue sea full of mystique. With her pale skin and her distinctively sublime silhouette, she seems as if she belongs in another world.
Osla
A beautiful lady wearing a detailed plate armor holds her hand up to her face, as if curious but slightly troubled. Her deep green eyes sparkle underneath her raised eyebrows. Her light brown hair is tied in a pony-tail behind her head which hangs down past her shoulders. As she talks she seems distracted, and whenever she is not talking she hums quietly to herself.
Osla runs the weapons shop in Emain Macha and appears to have a small mental disability like De. Osla seems to always hum whenever she is talking, and she also doesn't have a good memory. During conversation she implies that she wasn't always like this. Osla becomes De’s second best friend after finding her in the castle.
Chapter 1
“Ruairi wait!”
“Huh? Rian?”
Rian leaped over to his brother.
“I can’t see you walk through those doors! You’re making a big mistake!”
Ruairi pushed his brother out of the way.
“Ruairi!... Ugh.. I can’t shake him Aodhan..”
“Sir Ruairi, are you sure you know what you’re doing…?”
Ruairi nodded slightly to Aodhan.
“Don’t worry. Just.. Watch my brother and protect him with your life for me..”
“Wait! Ruairi! Please don’t go… Please.”
The door shut closed and locked. Rian stumbled down to his knees and looked down at them.
“Sir..?”
Aodhan reached over to pat his back but pulled his hand away.
“Maybe I should just leave him alone for now.” He thought.
Aodhan started walking away.
“Wait, Aodhan?”
Aodhan quickly stopped and turned to Rian.
“Yes my Lord?”
“I.. I want to take a walk with my dog. Can you come with us?”
“Yes. I’ll go get ready for the walk.”
Aodhan went up the stairs and Rian got up and waited. He put the leash on his loyal dog Tomishiku, and Aodhan came back with a closed parasol in his hands.
“All ready sir.” He said.
The doors once again opened but it seemed sunnier some how.
Rian and Aodhan headed down the steps of the castle.
“Come on Tomishiku.” Rian called his dog from the door.
Tomishiku barked and ran over to them as they started walking on the streets.
“So.. Why are you so upset about your brother going into training?.. Uh.. Well.. I don’t mean to be rude or anything sir.”
“It’s fine.. I’m worried that Ruairi won’t come back. I’m not worried about his training. He’s the only one I have left in my family.”
“I see.. Sir, you shouldn’t worry. Your brother is a strong young man with courage and wisdom. Maybe someday you’ll join him too.” Aodhan smiled.
“Maybe..” Rian repeated in his mind.
