If you mean how to get into the new region, look for an ice rock nearby and try picking an ice crystal from it. Takes a couple tries to get one. Use it near the river. You only need one.

P.S- That artifacts guy in Cor is the Ferghus version of Iria/exploration. Youll see what I mean soon enough...

I went to cernae meadows then took the hippos over to cor!!I found this to be easier
