light armor/clothing. if your elf and female, esteban mail looks nice with the right clothing. heavy armor doesn't look too good on mages.

Impossible to get mana reduction effect :P I think mages should not be wearing armor and slim inner robe, wizard suit or cheap thing is the magic school uniform if u cant afford the other two :P

technically, all a mage needs is a wand. mages shouldn't get hit. But, for looks, one usually wears light armor/clothing..... for girls, esteban, graceful plate, camelle spirit, cross belt leather, wis intelligence, sandra sniper, and drandos look good. For guys...... NY mario, slim inner, sexy bare, wis intelligence, drandos, can't think of much else at the moment. You should also wear a kite shield, for looks.

First lesson with game fashion. Mages don't wear feather hats (archers do, or at least that's what I've seen in other games), they wear pointy wizard hats (these are based on other gaming experiences), robes if they're not students but uniforms are good for if you wanna look like a student.

I picked,

Starry wizard hat. Really light blue, that looks white.

Wizards suit(M). Color 1:Black, Color 2:same as hat, Color 3:A light blueish purple color.(temporary).

Untill I decide to get some magic school shoes Im wearing X tie up shoes. Same color as wizard suit color 3. 

Oh and yeah they each have their own enchants.

I meant, that one of Mabinogi's greatest features is the fashion system (well, except for giants).   You can wear everything that you want, in any color possible, without age-restrictions on most. -___-

If there's no restriction there, then there's no restriction on your character build, like with most MMOs.

Everyone's personal style is too ranged to answer  that question correctly at all.

I'm a Mage, but I wear last year's Summer Newbie Wear in sky blue.

Basically, just wear what you like, with appropriate Enchants, like Will O Wisp and Nature, to give you a break with Mana.

If you actually read, Pigslayer care more about the stat , not the look. Those 3 item add mana reduction bonus, which all mage need, plus Wil O' Wisp will add 30 more max mana and 9 more int.

Those are the set that a mage want to wear.
