...A borrowing feature :P. where you can borrow someone's things without being able to use it, like equipping but it doesn't prof of lose dur. you can try on stuff if the other person does not have a shop.

there could be a feature that as soon as you click the "log out" or "change channel" menu, that it goes IMMIDIETLY to the owner,
and if you "dc" the same happens.. if that will work.. if not, lolsomuchforthis.
Anyway: nexon gets no item scam complaints, or not as much.. and people don't get scammed.

A lot of people would abuse that idea and go kill things for exp without having to pay for repairs
Not that it'll happen, but that's not actually the case. They would simply have to make it so that the item that is being "borrowed" doesn't have any effect whatsoever as it usually would.
e.g. Player "borrows" a Roseplate from a friend, meaning the player only looks to be wearing it, but doesn't actually get the defense or protection bonus that heavy armor would normally give.
e.g. Player "borrows" completely proffed and upgraded weapon that [for it's owner] does 400 damage per hit [hypothetically], the player who is "borrowing" the item would be doing damage as if he weren't wielding a weapon at all.
It would simply be "Preview" stepped up a notch, you can walk around and look like you have it, but it gives you none of the bonuses that it normally would such as defend/protection for clothing and armor, or attack power for weapons, etc. etc.
