It's basically a way to allow people to buy Cash Shop items such as services/cards for gold. The effect here is two-fold: one, it lessens gold farmers/sellers or stops them cold. Second, Nexon still gets cash in their pocket as the seller is the one purchasing the Cash Shop item in the first place.

In which server?  So far, all I've been hearing is that selling CS items is illegal: done on a regular basis, but still illegal.

 

The OP, I believe, wants an IG, code-protected, legal means to buying CS items.

I think this is referring to a more secure transaction of selling services and cards for gold.  For the current way to work, you have to have a lot of trust in the person claiming to the selling the services/cards.

I know EVE Online does it. I've heard that the Korean version of Mabinogi has some form of it as well, but not that advanced.

Well, They should just make the rebirth an "item" in game. and you trade it as the other people alongside pays at the same time. Which is quite convenient. And then probably like the character who holds it, like uses it in game and then automatically logs off and goes into the character selection and there continue rebirthing.

Yes, I think most can.

From what I know, Cash Items can be sent to as Gifts to other Players if you know the server and ingame name.  When the Gift it sent, the next time that player logs in, you will see a Gift card on your screen.  You open it and you will get whatever the item was.

Unless there is something else I don't know, I think this is how its done.

Yes, I think most can. 

Wait, you are referring to the items from the Advanced Item Service?  If so you can sell those ingame, the others can't. Correct me if I am wrong.

Oh, okay. That must be what I heard about from the Korean version, then.

If this is also the case for Mabinogi NA, then the solution I posted is more an alternative, so that people can post merchant codes in forums and people can pick them off first chance they get.

Well i meant as like, buy it via nx cash. and receive it as a real item in game XD
