When i want to play the game it pops up the UAC..I am a standard account cause my step dad doesnt want me to have as much access to stuff as the Admin does. I cant turn off the UAC cause i am not an admin and it asks for the passwords. My step dad doesnt want to give me his passoword or my moms. So is their a way i can play the game without having to put in an admin password? I cant ever redownload it without it asking for the password. Please someone help meh!

That wouldn't make your parents happy. Ask them to remove administrative access for Mabinogi.

what windows if its xp go to log off press ctrl alt del which brings a sign in menu. type in administrator as username and nothing as pw

Open up Control Panel and type in UAC into the search box. You’ll see a link for “Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off”...click it then uncheck the box for “Use User Account Control (UAC) blah blah”, and then click on the OK button... restart your computer and then you're all set :I

it doesnt disable any virus guards or firewalls dude... its just user account control... you can still run your protection programs with UAC off... you can either do that or ask for administrativecontrols on your profile

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Mabinogi needs to "make changes", in particuar, it needs to communicate with the internet. That is why the prompt comes up. If your dad won't let you play the game by giving you the password, then ask for your own computer.

Ok, i came home and my step dad left his account on so i disabled the UAC(i did tell him), and it worked. Thankyou lots :D. now how do i delet this forum. Lol.

Ok, when i turned it off.....well today when i went to play the uac popped up again. I thought i turned it off well turns out my step dad turned it on...how the heck does he know i turned it off?!?!?! does the message popup oh his account to >:( If it does then that was a waist of turnning it off. And my step dad will not let me be an admin, and he will not tell me why. I am getting so frusturated!!!!! I am getting my own computer but not till christmas.. I do not want to wait that long to play mabi again. Is their any other freaking way i can play mabinogi on a standard account without needing an admin account, or turnoff the uac......
