Dual Shielding? Giant's are considered the Melee Tanks. Why else would we have our special Giant-only skill, Windbreaker, which increases Def and Prot when activated?

Attacking someone would be similar to bashing someone with Knuckles, except they'd be shields.

Ooh! Ooh! Maybe you could like. Have a fancy combo where like, you start with a kick similar to attacking a prop with a bow, then you like, jump and then smack them with the shields, and then do a spinny round-house kick ish thingie that knocks them back and ends the combo? :D

Suddenly, I want bladed frisbees that you can like. Throw. :>

 Dual Kite Shield when fire countering would be an excellent defense if I messed up on my timing because of the stats that would result.

Though most of the time I am using my lightning wand with a single kite shield for lightning spamming stuff.

They should do it in a + formation. One shield goes sideways, the other normal position...kinda like a crucifix.

I wish they'd come out in NA with the Basil Gimlet Armor that he's wearing. It looks farking brutal; coupled with my IGN, Brutalitus (pronounced brew TAAL it us), makes for a truly barbaric appearance.

On topic:
Maybe instead of a + formation, they should do an X formation. For the attacking, it would be similar to that type of fighting that involves using your elbows/forearms instead of your fists (forgot what it's called).

Muay - Thai, yup.

DevCat would need to create some Battle Shields that you could equip. Of course they would have very low Damage, Critical, and Balance; but you'd sacrificing those for extra Defense. Maybe make them Dual-weild only, somewhat like Cymbals and L-Rods.

the shield was always an offensive weapon in a tight situation, they are heavy and would crack skulls if you hit people with them, two would require a spinning motion for centrifugal force to do max damage.

You mean centripetal force right?

I got it, when you wear two shields; you get to stack 'defense' skill. Sort of like ice-bolt you can only 'charge' 5 defenses at a time and after you get hit you automatically hit them back once, of course this will be fist damage. And you get a huge passive bonus in defense like 70 iirc a hetero has 35 defense.
