Let's all complain that we're not getting more.

Why not complain?I understand the whole "be grateful for what you get" concept but,

This isn't very beneficial to alot of people it's more like they are teasing everyone.

It's like giving a piece of candy to a kid and taking it back after they take 1 bite. Alot of people probably cant even enjoy the exp due to work and RL business but that's not Nexons fault I guess.

They have no obligation to give us anything at all, so people could be a little more grateful.

I can understand if some people have RL matters that prevent them from enjoying it, but I mean the people who can take advantage of the event but still complain.

Like I said, it's more of a tease than anything. I can't imagine getting much done in 3hours.But then again I'm not a hardcore grinder and I'm sure someone will make good use of the time

Even if it was the 12hour 2x exp it wouldn't make a difference to me since I don't grind but I still see how it would make people angry

You'd be surprised how much you could get done if you push yourself.

I will admit that it isn't very long compared to what we've been given in the past, but I still like it.

I know exactly my limit when I reach it.  Its called life and it wont let me be on during those 3 hours.

Oh and yes they are Obligated to give us stuff.   They are obligated to give me stuff at least.  I actually pay them money every month.  The money that is payed for NX keeps them running.  They have to give us stuff to keep us happy.  At least happy enough to keep playing and paying.  So yes, I think they are obligated to give us stuff and when its bad stuff we are obligated to voice our opinions about it.

You're not obligated to pay them and they're not obligated to make you happy just because you do pay them.

If we don't get out of bed to play this game then the game would no longer exists.  BUUUT... they want us to play there game right.  Why?  Cause they make money.  There not some charity organization or some kiddy channel website that is producing a free game just to promote there shows.  They are doing this to make money.  I am sure they make lots of money.  They make money cause we play there games, pay for there games, and visit there website and/or affiliated sites.

Unlike the games on your PS3 (well most), this game never ends.  There is no end.  Sure they gave us the basic game.  All the little quests and story lines.  We do all that and what... are we done.  Wait there is not ending credits.  No "you beat the game, now play it on hard mode".  Not even a little monkey to pop out of your computer and pat you on the back for a job well done.  The game is still here.  So why do I keep playing.  I can chat with my friends in other ways that don't bog down my computer.

I play cause of the events and the fact they keep adding new stuff.  Why do they add that stuff?  Its not essential to the story lines or even to the game.  Are they doing it out of the goodness of there hearts.  NO!  They are doing it because they want us to keep playing.  They want us to stay with them.  They don't want us to go to one of the hundreds (if not more) games out there that are just as "FREE" as they are.

So to keep us playing and paying (those of that do).  They are obligated to add events and activities to keep us entertained and with them.

If you still say there not obligated.  Trust me.  Some higher up on the food chain boss is telling them they have to do it.  I would pretty much say that obligates them to do it.

I agree with you, if Nexon can't keep players happy then people aren't gonna pay Nexon for NX. And I don't really like the timing either. I wake up at like 5 pm. :P

What about all the people who play for free? Shouldn't they be able to enjoy events like a paying customer?

It's an MMO and thousands of people play it.

You know as well as I do that they won't be able to make everyone happy all the time, but they'll try to please the largest group possible.

They probably pick the middle of the day since most kids are on summer vacation.

Based on the maturity level of all the people I see in game, I'd like to think more kids play than adults.

They want feedback on what they provide so that they can improve.

I claim no insight on their reasons for choosing this time frame, but I can guess that since there's a lot of fireworks this weekend, they don't want everyone locked in their rooms all weekend while still providing an event just for the occasion.

Another reason might be that they only banned 3 hours worth of people instead of the full time span that they did last time.

Yes I do believe people complain a lot.  I don't!  Very few times have I complained.  In fact as far as I remember the Imp and this 2x Exp, are the only times I really voiced my opinion about there events.  For the most part even the really annoying events I have enjoyed a lot.

Yes I actually sent in a ticket.  If they actually read them, great.  If not then well its the same thing as posting here.  I never asked them for 2x Exp.  Its nice to get, but for me its always a fail.  Since it never happens on days or times I can take advantage of it.  I would rather have 2x tickets or coupons you can activate when you are ready to use them.

I like that about maple story.  Not to make this a maple story type game.  Anyway, no big.  You voiced your complaint about complainers.  Good for you.  Freedom of speech ROCKS!

Even if it was the 12hour 2x exp it wouldn't make a difference to me since I don't grind but I still see how it would make people angry

I will admit that it isn't very long compared to what we've been given in the past, but I still like it.

I know exactly my limit when I reach it.  Its called life and it wont let me be on during those 3 hours.

Like others that have mentioned or may mention, I wont be on.  I can't get on at that time.

Oh and yes they are Obligated to give us stuff.   They are obligated to give me stuff at least.  I actually pay them money every month.  The money that is payed for NX keeps them running.  They have to give us stuff to keep us happy.  At least happy enough to keep playing and paying.  So yes, I think they are obligated to give us stuff and when its bad stuff we are obligated to voice our opinions about it.

If we don't get out of bed to play this game then the game would no longer exists.  BUUUT... they want us to play there game right.  Why?  Cause they make money.  There not some charity organization or some kiddy channel website that is producing a free game just to promote there shows.  They are doing this to make money.  I am sure they make lots of money.  They make money cause we play there games, pay for there games, and visit there website and/or affiliated sites.

Unlike the games on your PS3 (well most), this game never ends.  There is no end.  Sure they gave us the basic game.  All the little quests and story lines.  We do all that and what... are we done.  Wait there is not ending credits.  No "you beat the game, now play it on hard mode".  Not even a little monkey to pop out of your computer and pat you on the back for a job well done.  The game is still here.  So why do I keep playing.  I can chat with my friends in other ways that don't bog down my computer.

I play cause of the events and the fact they keep adding new stuff.  Why do they add that stuff?  Its not essential to the story lines or even to the game.  Are they doing it out of the goodness of there hearts.  NO!  They are doing it because they want us to keep playing.  They want us to stay with them.  They don't want us to go to one of the hundreds (if not more) games out there that are just as "FREE" as they are.

So to keep us playing and paying (those of that do).  They are obligated to add events and activities to keep us entertained and with them.

If you still say there not obligated.  Trust me.  Some higher up on the food chain boss is telling them they have to do it.  I would pretty much say that obligates them to do it.

It's an MMO and thousands of people play it.

You know as well as I do that they won't be able to make everyone happy all the time, but they'll try to please the largest group possible.

They probably pick the middle of the day since most kids are on summer vacation.

Based on the maturity level of all the people I see in game, I'd like to think more kids play than adults.

I am also saying that like everyone else.  If an event fails us (as badly as this event fails me).  We are obligated to voice our opinions and of how this event really let us down.  The fact that they have an event that is of a popular natures as 2x EXP, in such a limited time slot.  Well, it is an event that really failed.

So I have voiced my opinion on this event.  Now I am done.  I hope everyone that can, has fun with this event.  I might be able to get an hour today, if I am lucky to get back in time.  Saturday and Sunday I know I wont.  This is not the first 2x EXP event I will miss out on (like pretty much all of them).  Still I keep playing.  So I must still like the game.

Hey everyone, let's not be happy we're getting exp x2.

Why not complain?I understand the whole "be grateful for what you get" concept but,

This isn't very beneficial to alot of people it's more like they are teasing everyone.

It's like giving a piece of candy to a kid and taking it back after they take 1 bite. Alot of people probably cant even enjoy the exp due to work and RL business but that's not Nexons fault I guess.

They have no obligation to give us anything at all, so people could be a little more grateful.

I can understand if some people have RL matters that prevent them from enjoying it, but I mean the people who can take advantage of the event but still complain.
