First, Im posting this here so it gets the most attention. Im mainly posting so i can link it to my signature.
Alot of people do not know about flyers, and I took it upon myself to try to clarify it this way where it will reach even a small amount of userbase. Ill make a youtube video later when I get the time because this is really important.
House shops do not get much sale at the time this guide is made. Mainly because people think they have to walk/ride all the way to sen mag or dugald and then find the house to buy. So people need to know about flyers, if someone asks feel free to link them here.
What are Flyers?
Flyers are advertisements paid for by the many residents in sen mag or dugald residence. It allows anyone who has access to a house ad board to find what they want to buy and immediately warp or teleport to the location of the house AND warp back from where they came from.
So how does one use these Flyers?
First, find a House Ad Board. There are plenty, one or more in every town. Heck, theres even one where fleta is and thats the middle of nowhere. It looks like the one below:
Click the Ad board and a new window will pop up:
In this window you can see the drop down list, you will be able to search what you need by typing the item name while selected "Item Name" from the list.
Lets try that now...
Here I typed Corn as I am searching for Steamed Corn. See how it lists all the steamed corn for sale? This is usefull as well in price comparison. MUCH more convenient than personal shops ne?
Now there are times where you want to just head over to a known shop. For example my shop. Because yours truly is the best chef in the universe you want to visit my shop and buy some good food. You can type my name and select "seller" on the list. Then you get...
Now it lists everything sold in my shop. Now you can click "recieve" to get a flyer like the image suggests.
When you do you get this
Flyers not only allow you to view item details, but you can also use it to warp or teleport to the house where this flyer came from. Not only that, when you use a flyer it turns into a return coupon like shown in the image. You can use this to go back from where you left. I got this flyer from dunbarton and teleported to my house. I can then use the coupon to return to dunbarton after buying.
Spread the word everyone! Especially those of you with houses and sell with it. We need to bring the consumers in and explain that its actually pretty convenient to buy from player houses.
