I would like to request your help in a petition to change NA Mabinogi's current text system that has shadow/AA text. High-end systems even lag from it.

Nexon will do nothing.  If the KR version changed it's text system, then there will be a patch later down the line that NX will translate and we will receive.  So for all those who do this petition, what will you do to back up your signatures, quit?

I agree the text needs to change, i can't even keep the chat log open so that i don't miss anything or else i lag while i open NPC windows or get cinematics (especially paladin transformation, i waste about 15% of my paladin time loading after the cutscene if i forgot to close the chat log.
The character window is terrible too.

However i don't feel there's a point signing this, not like nexon would look at it or even care if they did, but i will sign it anyways just in case it leads to something.

Then it cannot be the text per se. Together with the way items were lost in the rollback, the database configuration is starting to look like a fail of epic proportions.

 oh oh oh.. So it wasn't just me who gets laggin when i hit character info window, chat log, and any other

 extra windows.. (in game) ... .O_O... THEY REALLY NEED TO FIX IT ....asap..

Not only is it uglier, but it lags the game dramatically.

Imagine having to have to glow/antialias every single text that appears on the screen. The client goes mad.

Some people seem to think that KR server USED to be like this and it was patched over.

Wrong.

KR server always had clean, sharp, and pretty text everyone would enjoy. NA server changed it as it was introduced. Its a great source of lag.

I bet Nexon made the superbly idiotic thought - "Graphics make the game"., because every thought this was like Runescape, and everyone was saying "OMG. RUNESCAPE GRAPHIC SAWK". 

It may be OUR fault Nexon changed the text to what they thought was beautiful.
