well im having problems too but when i start the game up i make it to the title screen but when i put in my pass and id it says cannot connect to server. o-o

I just wanna play Mabinogi T.T

Having the issue with Hackshield Pro. It pops up the update hackshield update window and then just sits there for 15 minutes and then closes. I thought it was similar to problem I had with it a few days ago when I had to manually update it, but no use...nothing. I tried to close the processes out and tried again. nothin happened. I mean nothin. not even the update window. my internet connection even shut down briefly. Restarted the computer (again) started Mabinogi....nothin... really sad.

Oh well guess I will fire up my heavily MODded Oblivion and kill some critters there till I go to bed. Try again tomorrow and all that.

Gah!!! I'm still up trying to figure this out and it's sooooo late at night.... My Mabi still isn't working, same problems, and I've gone over and over these threads and other month old threads... :( nothing. I'm happy for others getting theirs to work but I'm really, really sad... Hopefully tomorrow when I get up, I can get on Mabi with no problems, and believe that it was all a bad dream...

Just throwing this out there, I have 3 computers with mabinogi installed on them. The two vistas are both experienceing this problem; I've tryed reseting them both and reopening mabi at least 10 times on each and hack shield has always gotten stuck at about 1/10 completion. The XP is having no problem what-so-ever with the loading and updating of hack shield, and is running mabi just as perfectly as it always has.

Go to your C:// drive look for mabinogi and go to "HShield" folder then look for "HSUpdate" rigt click it and open properties and go to the cabatabiliy tab and run it in XP SP2  then acsept it and go to the "Update" folder and look for "autoup" and do the same thing and there you go.

well it looks like there are problems all around since it seems like the customer service part of the site is down as well most likely caused by the flood of users unable to connect...guess i dont feel completely alone

OMG same here i click program on my desktop

it loads for a sec. then window pops up and i click start. sec later hackshield pro at bottom right corner pops.

it loads like alil green and never farther. then minutes later it closes

   Wouldn't using HackShield slow down the game client system performance?

   It will affect clients' system performance but will be minimal. It's a small trade-off to make your game safer and more reliable environment and your players will be happy to know that extra measure is taken to keep cheating and hacking out of the game.

   HackShield checks continually at an irregular interval from minimum 1 second to maximum 5 seconds.

   
   

   Mabi's hellish lag + all your vista related problems, yep, sure am glad Nexon has this beast of a hack preventor.
