start menu -> run -> type: regedit  

if you're a comp newb..I heavily, HEAVILY suggest you follow directions exactly. You can easily break your computer if you do something wrong. If you follow the instructions exactly nothing bad will happen, only good.

Working for me with Vista (without SP1), after installing the hotfix. I thought I was lag free before... holy hell was I wrong. Shocking the developers dont have the game disable nagle, especially considering it's using TCP instead of UDP fortwitch gameplay. There are also programs that can do this, like Free Ping.

I think the N+1 issues alot of people are having (doing it multiple times in a row especially) could be related to Nexon's end lagging. If the AI/NPC server is lagging, it is likely not properly registering the timing of our hits or resetting the combos on stuff :/. Thats just a guess though.

Glad more and more people are finding this, I'd make some edits for clarity to the original post if I could but most people are figuring things out. IF you aren't familiar with working with the registry, you should try to find someone who is to help ya a bit if you don't think you can follow the directions exactly :).
 

Bakuryu over at Mabiguru made an image guide that may be helpful to some folks having trouble.

 

The Windows is in Spanish I believe, but you can follow the pictures and locations and get some help figuring out where to put the DWORD if you can't find the right spot. Even if you still can't match up stuff in the guide, you can always just put it under all of the {2365236236 folders under Interfaces to be safe; but this should help you find what to do.

Doesn't work for me, i followed all the instructions.. still doesn't work, i still lag ingame, my icebolt takes like, 3 seconds to cast still,  lol =X

 

It may have something to do with.. that im not from the NA? im using a BAD BAD BAD to connect to mabinogi, so thats why it may not be working? >_>

Nawww its prolly the reason you said. Those things aren't meant to play games through, you're basically using your latency to them + their latency to the server + any delay caused by other traffic through the "thing".

Well i cant play mabinogi without it, the lag isn't really that bad, the game is still play-able, i'd just like.. less lag. x_X unless you have another "thing" that doesn't lag. :p

Nawww can't help ya there even if it was allowed -_-; its just a downside of having to use one unfortunately.
