    Thanks for the warning bank

So just lost about 100k in former scrolls because I didn't realise they were being kept in the "danger" zone of the bank and I hit char lvl 30. That really is a stupid system and designed only to screw over those that don't know and require them to pay cash. I have a couple of problems with this:

     1. Give a new player some warning. There is plenty of warning that Nao's support will end and what not, but no notice that half your bank will be seized and you cannot get it back. This, to me, is video game extortion, plain and simple.

     2. So we have to pay for extra storage space? Sure, that is fine. Then let us deal with that lessened storage space and be able to rearrange our items out of our bank instead of locking them down.

I see this as nothing more than shady business practices and actually hurting the user in order to force them to pay. That is NEVER a good strategy. You want to make people pay in order to enhance their game and make them feel like they are earning something. Not like you just stole their items and are selling them back to the player.

WELL, U dont have to use extra storage. Obviously Most ppl have mules which they go on to get the items they need and hold em so they wont be taking up all the space in their bank. Why dont u try doing that. And when u need the items just mail or get use one of ur assistant accounts and have it in the bank and when u need it just put it in the pet and itll go to the other acc / ur main when u open the pet up.

Except for the fact that a new player doesn't know they are using extra storage or even how to arrange their bank so that they don't get items locked. There is no warning, you just hit the magical level 30 and suddenly you have to pay money to get back half your items.

What?! I never knew the services included the bank too. This is going to take a long time for me to rearrange everything then.

Actually, they do give an in-game warning when you get close to level 30, you just have to find the time to read. =/

    For the first part;

Nexon North America DID state that Nao's BEGGINER SERVICE would end at 30 levels OR one month, what ever came first. It's posted in the news and updates section on Mabi's homepage. Besides, chill out. You get one week free service of Nao+Bank as well(or used to)... So stop flipping out, kay?

But they should make an IN GAME visual marker of what bank slots are going to be jacked from you. I can't tell what's what.

I didn't know the bank was bigger than it was supposed to be at first,

I thought it had to do with the bought item of extra storage you can find in the in-game gp shop.

I have my bank full on my char that is lv29... I hope he hasn't gained xp from aging or anything or I'm screwed.

BTW paying for bank service every month is stupid, buy a $10NX card and get two or three pets for lifetime extra storage for just a one time price of $10.

I 100% agree this is a shady business practice and appears to be a form of extortion. Just like the virus that locks out your files unless you pay them for the key, An in game warning should be given that your bank will reduce after x levels or time, if I am hit with any other surprises like this I will never play another nexon.com game again.

Uh, yeah, what she said. It's your fault that you didn't read the warning at level 20 that the free services they provide you will be gone.

actually they do give you a warning in game before you level to 30 you will get a message that say i believe that your free begineer service is almost done or somthing like that i know i got one of these messages but i was in dugeon and level up to 30 before i could get out >.< besides if you want your items back you can always just do the 1 day option for extra storage you know thats what i did work out fine hope this helps =3Cool

Re: Thanks for the warning bank

I too got caught by the bank shrinkage but I blamed myself for not taking the time to read the warning completely. (was busy fighting...oh and the sun was in my eyes...) but only lost some junk and 1 silk that sits in the middle so I actually have less than half of the bank. But I do have several pets so they take up the slack. Which can be a problem when you want to play one yourself (but that's another story). :)

wow u know how annoyin that is when ppl do that? fkin hate it cause they log into like 3 or 4 guys at once ESPECIALLY when they take up all the market spots so you cant put your frickin rug anywhere to sell yours stuff. you can tell its the same idiot controlling them to cause of their names and what they're sellin. its one of main reasons i left global goonzu cause of the rampant multiclient cheats. isnt there a rule against it?
