Here is week two. Enjoy :)
Your week has been filled with the soft and sweet songs of a lady calling out to you. It's a lonely song. A sad song. In the dream you always fight your way through wave upon wave of undead skeletons. You reach a large door with a giant grey lock. When you reach out to unlock it you wake up with your hand stretched out in front of you. Grabbing nothing.
This happens again at the end of the week, but when you wake up your hand is clutching an envelope. The shadowy man is once again standing over you. When he realizes you are awake and fully aware of the envelope he turns around and heads for the door. Unlike last week however your voice calls out in a more friendly tone: Wait man of shadow. May I at least have a name. Turning around he shakes his head in agreement. You can call me Freckle he says with a chuckle. You chuckle as well, knowing this could not be his real name, but taking it as a sign of friendliness.
Freckle points to your favorite chair before leaving and you see a small package waiting there. Learn to use the contents of the package well my friend. You shall need them. After Freckle leaves you open the envelope and begin reading:
Dear challenger,
I hope your encounter with my servant went a tad bit better than last week. Anyway, this week's line of tasks will be a tad bit different than last week. Stealth will not be of very top priority here. The characteristic testing this week shall instead be that of patience and skill in the dungeons of Uldah. Here are your tasks:
1. Alby dungeon: This dungeon has been found to be the gateway of all other dungeons in Errin. The leader of alby is a giant spider. A very giant and very cranky spider. He does not approve of humans. I have watched you fight alongside your pet companions. They are beautiful and fierce beasts. I will ask you to send your pet in to engage and defeat the giant spider. Only by defeating it with your pet will you gain it's respect enough for the information on the other dungeons.
2. Ciar dungeon: Injured and defeated the spider describes to you another dungeon close by. It is called ciar. At the end of the dungeon lies an angry golem guarded by an elite group of metal skeletons. He has been ordered by those at the top of the ladder to guard a stick that will be needed later on. Defeat him and if your chest contains a stick it is time to leave the area of Tir.
3. Math dungeon: The golem bows on one knee to you and waves a skeleton over by you and he. Talking in a grinding and rough language only known to golems and skeletons, the golem slowly tells you of your next challenge. He says the broad stick in the chest behind him will please the evil hounds in the next dungeon. Only by bringing them the stick will they release the info needed. So you fight your way through kobolds and rats to the hellhounds of math.
Showing them the stick they agree to duel you for the info. After defeating them they tell you of their beautiful master in the dungeon across the meadow from them. She sings such beautiful and sad songs. If you bring the lute to her that is in the chest behind them she will become able to be tamed with animal taming. Petting the hellhounds one by one you exit the dungeon and make your way across the meadow.
4. Rabbie dungeon: Fighting your way through rabbie and the waves of skeletons it contains, you seem to recall having been here before. Your heart races as you begin to realize this is the place in your dreams. Pushing forward you reach the boss door. You halt as you begin to reach toward the door with the key and expect to wake up any moment. You finish unlocking the door and smile at the site on the other side. A beautiful women sits on the cold floor of a giant room. She looks up and smiles at you as she says :
"I knew you would come. Do you have the tools that are needed to tame me though???" If you are successful in taming her she will tell you of the sad tale of her and her sister. Of how she remained faithful to the fomors while her sister betrayed her and joined the church of dunbarton. Your final task will be to bring her to her sister. For she doesnt have the willpower by herself to make the journey. She needs to be carried. If you can successfuly reunite the two your week will be complete.
The package you have received contains a taming cane and bait. Only with these will the succubus tell you her story. Control of Darkness will only serve to anger her. If you don't wish to use animal taming you can prove your worth to her by defeating all 5 ogre warriors at the end of barri normal.
You may purchase the stick or lute from an npc shop, but only one. One of these items must come from the chest of a dungeon.
